Worst Poker Youtuber?

Worst Poker Youtuber?

I think the two battling for the crown has to be Little Jonathan Little and Peter Clark aka Carroters.

Both are break even donks who cant coach students successfully above 50nl.

This is good advice
It is beginner advice
Does not make it bad advice or outdated
Poker is poker

No its useless advice because anyone even trying to be good at poker would already know it. He's a content mill pure and simple No decent players would say play middling suited connectors but ignore hands like A5s

It would be cool if there was some kind of pinned thread where people can add their channel links.

It's beginner advice that helps you stop being a 50/10 fish at 2NL and beat the 50/10 fish. But bad advice for anyone who one day hopes to earn more than a few bucks an hour playing ten 2NL tables at once.

I think anyone who wants to avoid being creamed at 10NL+ will need to unlearn a lot of what Blackrain79 teaches quickly, because his exploits are so open to counter-exploits even by -15BB/100 players at those stakes. He should stop using clickbaity titles about offering "Elite Poker Training" and be more open that what he's offering is a strategy that only makes money from recs at the very lowest stakes. If your dream is to make enough money from grinding at the micro-stakes
to cover rent and groceries in a third world country, that's fine by me, as long as no one is following his advice hoping to move up the stakes.

What are the best poker youtubers? (Not best players, but best teachers.)

big fan of GTOWizard, UpswingPoker, and Finding Equilibrium

He was a winning 50NL player for a while back in the day- he also wrote "The Grinder's Manual". But he hasn't beaten 100NL, 200NL, or 500NL despite his constant videos playing and coaching at these limits. His students have all failed at whatever stake they play.

He seems to have a solid theory basis, but doesn't play professionally so it doesn't even matter.

To the list above I'd add Saulo Costa and Uri Peleg.

Not saying you're wrong, but this doesn't prove anything.

An easy way to sum up blackrain79 is most of his videos will say something along the lines of try this one trick to crush your game or to crush the Micros. That right there tells you he's a phony . Their is no one magic trick to make you good at poker. You wanna know what makes you good at poker good old fashioned study well that or RTAing

I still stand behind my claim. Jonathan Little is in the bottom percentile of youtube content creators skills-wise (or at least the advice he puts out is).

That wasn't your original claim though

I am curious, can Jonathan use the footage from Rampage like here? Is this under fair use?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8ggtwb1...

I am new to youtube and really wonder if I can make clips of e.g. hustler stream to heavily edit, comment on etc, even comment on other vlogger content without being called a douche :]

You can not use copyright video of any length of time on youtube without consent.
However it happens heavily.
If you spend 40 hours editing a video that gets 100k views just to be demonitized for using a HCL clip it would not be fun.

But clearly there must be some frames where Robbi's hair is vibrating or Ryan Feldman walks by and kicks her (unconfirmed)

I say the best poker YouTubers are the ones who do something that no one else provides to the poker community, like coverage of poker media (television, movies, etc).

Ahem...The Two Fish at the Table Podcast...

Stuff you won't see anywhere else?

-Breaking down every year of the WSOP Main Event broadcasts
-Reviewing the short lived ESPN show: Tilt (in all its failures)
-An unprecedented 3 hour interview with Greg Raymer
-And much more.

Jonathan for sure has Rampage's permission to use his content, they have made content together both for Youtube and on PokerCoaching.com. Jonathan also (usually) mentions and thanks streams that are featured on his Youtube channel for allowing him to use the conent.

unpopular opinion: the best grinders with the biggest stable winrates don't stream, at least not for free.

if you decide to stream, it is most likely infotainment. those who stream aim to make money from community building, not the game itself.

they want to entertain and are most likely not able to compete in the tuffest games.

some streamers where crushers back then and decided to build something more ppl related.

both sides of the coin are reliable but imo, those who stream poker should not be taken for top tier of the game.

That's not an unpopular opinion, really, more or less a fact. At least when it comes to widespread content creation in tough formats - when you grind at the top online it takes a lot of effort studying to keep on par, most of the guys release content when they stop trying their hardest.

It's also the case for me - I realized that I just don't have what it takes to keep up with my peers in cash games (I was literally sweating and studying with Linus and Wiktor/Limitless at NL25 - NL50 ), never played higher than NL400, I'm getting old, so I started making content to diversify couple months back. If I was on my way up I'd never put in this much effort - these days putting out quality content on modern platforms takes a lot of effort, analysis, and study of the algorhythms. When you reach a certain mass you need teams to keep growing - you spend the time you could be spending studying, grinding and looking for better games instead.

Hey,

I would like to make a first step in this direction and post a link to my educational YouTube poker channel.
Beginners and intermediate players have found a wealth of info on this channel. I'm definitely nowhere near perfect yet but improving every day, both at YouTubing and poker.

Thanks for the link. I have subbed, looks interesting.

I'm always looking for co-operations, so maybe we can do something together.

Here't the link to my channel if you're interested:

Absolutely!

We'd love to collaborate with you!
