Seems like the Defense Secretary didn't follow proper procedure, but if Joe really is in charge, he's making the decisions, not his Defense guy. I don't see the correlation here.

You don't see an issuer that no one knew ? In todays global situation you think Joe or his puppet masters would be in contact with this guy on a frequent basis .
At the best the defense Secretary should be asked for his resignation. I watched the the Biden Network CNN and not a peep instead 3 hours straight of the Trump Appeal

Yes, of course it's an issue, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gets kicked out. I just don't see how it is any reflection of Joe being in charge of things. I don't expect him to check in with every cabinet member every day.
What definitely is not an important issue is whether or not a particular news channel decided to give it coverage. It's amazing that you would watch 3 hours of a channel you don't like just to prove to yourself why you don't like it.
