Quantum Entanglement (A Love Story)
More Bach.
If you haven't yet experienced Bach, I suggest starting with BWV: 1050 {Brandenburg Concerto #5} which in my young opinion is his greatest masterpiece that I have uncovered to date. The truth is it will take me the rest of my life to listen to his entire catelogue, especially with how I chose to listen to music (basically a random ecclection [eclectic + collection]) depending a lot on my mood. I still use PANDORA, "shuffle ALL" seems impossible to not be the best way to listen to music.
Formally the fifth Brandenburg Concerto is a concerto grosso, with a concertino consisting of three instruments. However, throughout the concerto the harpsichord takes the leading role among the soloists, with, for instance, a long solo passage for this instrument near the end of the first movement: neither of the other soloists has a comparable solo passage. In this sense the concerto has been called the first keyboard concerto ever written. Vivaldi, and other composers, had occasionally given solo passages to keyboard instruments in their concertos before Bach, but never had a concerto been written which gave the harpsichord a soloist role throughout on the scale of the fifth Brandenburg Concerto and its predecessor BWV 1050a.
The harpischord solo written about above is likely among the very first musical experiences of what is commonly known as "shredding" on a guitar. I actually don't know if this sample has been shown similarly in prior music by Bach or others. It is absolutely incredible though.
The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games
And daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path
The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
The lunatic is in my head
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade
You make the change
You rearrange me 'til I'm sane
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There's someone in my head, but it's not me
And if the cloud bursts thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

I am offering to pay for lunch at Ondori, Las Vegas. I've decided I'm going to eat there everyday. If you want a free meal, RSVP in this thread, and accept your fate as my meal companion for 30 minutes.

This song is arguably their best, mainly because of David Gilmour's 87 seconds of sologasm:
But yeah, it's Comfortably Numb.
Listen to those violins bellow and pray.
And the contrasting vocals of Gilmour's screaming chorus.
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
I have become comfortably numb
Heading to the casino to eat, and play for about 12 hours.
I have become comfortably numb.
Remember when you were young
You shone like the sun.
Now there's a look in your eyes
Like black holes in the sky.
Wish You Were Here.
Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to blog with you again....
Hello readers!
It is me -- Tuma -- leader of men, dropping in to write something pithy to satisfy my fans.
Despite barely touching the felt these past two weeks I'm still having one of the better profit months in a very long time. January started off great, until a combination of burnout, winter blues, dabs, and perhaps long covid left me sleeping 14 hours per day for a while. I took a very short break from THC, had some insomnia, and am now feeling better than I have in quite some time. I would seriously not recommend using sleep deprivation as a tool for anything in your lives, but it does tickle my fancy that a negative (depressed) times another negative (insomnia) yields me feeling better.
I plan on grinding tomorrow at The Aria for a change, should be fun.
I'm on a new diet centered on eating cans of chili, not eating out, and portion control. If I stay the course I will morph into an olympians body without fail. If I don't, I will binge on carry-out, repeating a tale as old as time, posts as old as rhyme, Tuma and The Beast.
Besides for that, I am an intensely boring person, who sloths around from room to room, leeching on my surroundings, totally befuddled that anyone has interest in this blog or what I write about. A friend of mine took one of my blog posts and uploaded it into an A.I. detector which rated me as "94%", meaning it was likely written by a stack of GPUs and not a human. I guess I take that as a compliment, maybe my writing is out-of-this-world good, or even great, and I can't see it for more than what it is to me....although probably it is not close to special in the slightest.
Here's the themesong for Sunday, the place of the NFC Championship game.
Curse Breakers run hot, baby. The lions have half a dozen "It" factors in their favor.

I will be partying into monday's morning, hopefully doing the opposite of smoking crack rocks under a bridge with my homies.
The Detroit Lions are going to the Superbowl. The aura is tangible, and it is palpable; you might even say it is real.
i read your post
i am prone to much of the same
there's one great solution and it's the only one i've ever found
1 get up early
think of an early start time and then get up an hour earlier than that
2 no hitting snooze buttons
snooze buttons are disgusting enablers - just sit up and stand up and get out of bed immediately - do not pause
3 once you're up immediately brush your teeth and then eat some food
this will kick start your body - activating ancient innate knowledge that you're now fueled for action and will get going
4 then immediately step outside and walk to the nearest gym
preferably the gym is a 15min to 30 min walk away
5 go to gym and workout
then go home and proceed with your day like you normally would
6. until your sleep recalibrates, you can take small naps in the early afternoon
but if after 4 pm just power through and go to bed at a normal hour
you'll free great, find you have so much more energy, find that you have all this free time that you previously squandered half asleep on a couch in zombie mode - time spent awake is now active and engaged
you can still do your thc etc, just do them right before you step out the door for the gym, it'll make the gym time way more fun/engaging
this will change your life for the positive - you'll also look better naked, which is generally a plus
