PLO100 & PLO200 - 50k$ year

PLO100 & PLO200 - 50k$ year

Hi guys,

I'm playing PLO100 and PLO200 FastForward on PP.

I've made around 20k$ this year and want to add another 50k$ on top of that. I've finally been allowed to download hands (restrictions to the local client), so now I can actually post hands and giraphs.

BR is 20k$ which IMO isn't quite enough to play PLO200. Therefore, I'll only play PLO200 if the PLO100 pool isn't running.

Usually playing 6 tables at a time but wan't to try to stick to 4, especially at PLO200 as I'm probs making too many small mistakes running 6 tables.

The rakeback is a flat 20% due to regulations in my country (Denmark) heavily taxing the pokersite, thus limiting me from receiving any form of promotions besides the flat 20%. The rakeback won't count towards my 50k$ goal, but can count towards the overall BR should everything go to ****.

On a long term. The end goal is to become somewhat financially independent so I can quit my job (9-5) and become a full time writer. And buy an old Volvo. I hate my job even though the money is somewhat good.

I've considered streaming. Would be just me playing, no picture and most likely some form of techno running in the background. I haven't settled on this yet.

Life is basically: reading, writing, working, girlfriend, friends and beers. There isn't that much time for poker which is why I'm making this blog, to keep myself sticking to the goal and also 3bet less when running bad, lol. The winnings are tax free by the way.

My year so far:

PLO100 - 5,2 EVbb

PLO200 - 6,1 EVbb

The stats are inflated, especially PLO200 as it's usually running 3 or 4-handed.

Most likely I'll also play the occasional sunday MTT program.

There are very few regs that I actually respect in these pools. So don't take it personally if I make fun of your play in this blog.

I'll try to post at least two times a week, mainly interesting HH's and the occasional graph, yet this weekend I won't be online at all due to real life obligations.

And so the grind begins

Bit late to the party. Last years results:

Party (rakeback not included)

As many of you already know this is 95% PLO200FF

Terrible volume

Won 1.8k$ in CG on stars about 4k$ ev down, 18k hands
Lost 3k$ during SCOOP getting ducked by clueless mtt regs <3

Haven't played in a month, will start this years grind today, a bit rusty i'd imagine

GL to everyone

Congrats on the great year. Have you thought about moving up?

Crazy man! Wouldnt have thought these results are possible at PLO200

What do you think of GG R&C PLO200, if you ever tried it. You think you will have the same results on GG?

by Computerized k

Congrats on the great year. Have you thought about moving up?

Thank you! Played 1.6k hands on PLO1K and won 12k$ this year. 23k hands on PLO500 and won 10.5k$. So I do play higher. Problem is that games rarely run higher than 200. This year I intend to invest a lot + traveled way too much last year + have very high living expenses, so bankroll isn't as deep as it might seem. Also, If I can pull in 116K$ (rakeback included) in AI EV in 550k hands with a pathetic volume of 2 hours a day, I'm fine with that (not the lazy volume obviously). I have no intention of getting mad rich. I have a master's degree and I want to put that to good use sometime in the not so distant future. I don't like playing poker.

Thanks buddy! Me neither.

Higher rake and non-transparent rakeback system + the recent GG scandal really isn't a good look. And even if I wanted to it's not available for danish players.

Only played 7k hands, few interesting ones, lost 500 bucks. Pool is terrible atm, not enough players

Don't really study anymore. Early part of last year a lot of PLO Trainer.

Villain in question never has QJ with this sizing so might as well shove and hope for a hero call.

Hands from last week. Running terrible. But that was to be expected at some point.

cold 4betting Q986ds is standard?

No it's not, but the EV diff between 4b and folding is miniscule. Who cares if you're sunrunning? Just click buttons and print lmao.

is this thread done now? :(

is this thread done now? :(

yeah i guess it died, kind of lost motivation to post – wasn't that much interaction anyway (entirely understandable since i only posted hands) beside the occasional hurr durr sunrunning and cheating accusations + travelled a lot this year and only played 230k hands so haven't been online that often

ytd stats look like this (i managed to sunrun myself into a 8.25 ev bb/100)

thanks to everyone for following and gl on the tables <33

Happy to interact itt if you continue , I just found it, also a 200 plo reg

Thought I'd definitively end the thread by posting the total results from the day I started the challenge, might serve as motivation for others to start their own journey 😀

By stakes:

Graph:

Total results including rakeback (62.450$):

344.404$

You are the plo 200 goat You only play on pp? What countries did you visit bro? What is this story about cheating accusations?

Sick dude, you gotta move up!
