We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

How to post CoinPoker hands:

Click on hand #number in replayer.

Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.

paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/

The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.

For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.

Post your nice hand here![/post]

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Converter from Pokeit https://pokeit.co/convert/ with wide variety of supported games, multiple hand conversion, etc.

Another converter: http://www.railhand.com
Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.
Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

fair enough, this is perhaps why i never reached the nosebleeds as I'm never flatting there hoping to get bluff caught

by CheckRais3r k

Pretty sure that's not the only reason why you never reached the nosebleeds.

go on

idk i just feel like if we play a hand heads up where we take a line that "only the nuts will call here so we'll just flat with 2nd nuts that also blocks the nuts" is just a really bad play imo

your range assessment is off.

what do you think is least unlikely?
a) one of the absolute best players in the world makes a mistake in such a common spot
or
b) your feeling (as a retired player) about a spot is incorrect

it was a good call. now let's move on 😀

so davy never has any bluffs here?

if only the nuts is calling then he should be jamming nearly all rivers

you guys give too much credit to these people, even the best in the world are going to make the occasional mistake

What do you think Linus is turn 3b’ing that isn’t an eight or a bluff on a rainbow texture RR?

Do you think he’s 3b’ing a set OTT on that board and then b/c’ing river? If so, why?

Take note that Linus has a Tx combo.

Pretty audacious post man. lol

(I agree with time to move on sentiment)

Thx to HH posters as always.

You explained it yourself, there's a reason you haven't been able to move up to highstakes (and judging by that comment, moving out of micros would have been an achievement) but yet you feel qualified to judge the plays of people who have. Your raise needs to be called by a weaker hand more than half the time to show profit, whether or not villain has bluffs is irrelevant as we don't make anything extra from those by jamming.

Wait isn’t this is the same guy that was extremely vocal about nosebleed guys not beating 500 regs by much?

I think this dude is just trolling.

Literally my dog understands this is not a raise on the river with 86.

Thx to all posters btw <3

Lolol

Not everyone can lose their way up the stakes like you did

Fish strat talk itt

Davy needed to reclick riv so linus could 3b pile all his naked Tx that he gets to riv with...guy can't help himself too rich

go on

I've no idea who you are lol I just thought it was a clever joke.

by CheckRais3r k

I've no idea who you are lol I just thought it was a clever joke.

likewise but i'm not making assumptions about you

i may be incorrect, in fact, the majority of the people all disagreeing with me is very strong evidence that i am indeed incorrect and so I too believe you guys now and am no longer arguing it etc etc - this was the entire purpose of asking - shocker i know that people ask questions in order to elicit second opinions to better their own understanding

people are just jumping in on the "i didn't play nosebleeds" comment

I'm also not trying to single you out, i also took a contrarian stance on the nl500 thread (which was misrepresented here) that also got pushback but then once sauce writes something echoing my own sentiment not only did people oddly not attack him for having the same stance but even more oddly also ceased attacking me as well

you guys fetishize the elite players so much that when they say something you'd previously ridiculed when others said it you immediately change your tune - it's just sycophantic, unhealthy, and it'll prevent any real growth because this cult of personality prevents you from thinking through stuff independently and learning on your own, you're just following the leader and will forever be 2nd tier at best as a result

so when someone you don't know who is a self admitted non elite nosebleeds crusher dares question the play of a crusher, you guys get all bent out of shape and overreact

we literally have a J high vs T high shove and call at river in this same thread that gained widespread praise right next to the flatting river with 2nd nuts- obviously, those are different boards and situations - but you get the point in that a lot of the mindset here is simply deferring to the authority - they played it this way, it must be correct - which I agree is largely the case and even when I first commented about davy just calling, I wasn't saying he was wrong, i simply asked a question because the hand got me thinking

by rickroll k

why is davy only flatting the first river?

this, this right here is what led to the ridicule, the fact I simply asked why he took the line he took

the "never reached the nosebleeds" was a tongue in cheek acknowledgement that I am retired, behind on the times, and was never an elite crusher like those guys - it was not at all to indicate I was a microstakes grinder who stuggled at poker and I am quite confident I played at higher stakes and with a higher winrate than many who are now tossing in barbs from the sidelines because I dared ask if davy would have better off raising instead of calling the river

you guys need to lighten up and think fluidly and not be so rigid

Please bois don’t feed this troll and we carry on with the HH 😀 let’s end it here

didn’t know davy played HU, more HH pls [emoji4]

As I said, I was just joking.

by CheckRais3r k

As I said, I was just joking.

i know, it just elicited an avalanche of barbs from the peanut gallery and just wanted to say my piece on it - we're cool

by rickroll k

by rickroll k

i can't help but think this is directed at me. i deferred to an elite player (and as such an authority on poker strategy) in order to avoid making a strategy post and assumed doing so would dead the conversation (boy was i wrong). it wasn't because i didn't think raising is the wrong play. it's a fairly common and easy spot so there's virtually no chance any winning mid or high stakes player would ever misplay it.

with all due respect, you're the one that's clearly overreacting here. am not entirely sure whose post triggered you so hard, but i hope there are no hard feelings. i won't be partaking in this discussion any further as to not clog the thread with derailment.

weird to think a shots fired gif which is both funny and a neutral observation or a friendly strat discussion where you shared your point of view (which is why i ask the question) would "trigger" me

had no issues with you whatsoever masta, same with the others who discussed what i wrote and disagreed - that was the entire purpose of asking the question to get feedback on the hand - i don't even have any issues with those who disagreed forcefully either, as they were still talking about the hand itself and I would be insanely hypocritical to be upset over someone not using good bedside manner - i mean, just look at my undertitle 😀

it was the peanut gallery of dipshits not discussing anything and just putting in stupid ad hominem attacks - those were the ones i was responding to, the irony of crimson both misrepresenting what i said in another thread about end bosses, one where when an end boss finally entered the chat he didn't pile on me like the other microstakes fanboys but instead agreed with me (and thus ended the conversation) just got me thinking "omg is he really that stupid to use a thread that verified my position as evidence against me? does he really lack basic cognitive function?"

i can't help but respond to that dumbass catalyst and xr conveniently had a decent post to seque into it to respond not to everything

i won't derail any further, i'm sorry about the damage already caused to the thread

I can imagine all the eastern euro regs open/refreshing this thread getting excited about the disrespect hands regs play against each other and ending up anticlimax getting rickroll.

Subbed, let's see some fun hands this month

by redwhirl k

Same, he seems very eager to do so since the new year started, he already played a bunch of HU vs jasamgale and vs Linus on ACR in January. Fun hand histories coming for sure...
