Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards
Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?
I have read about it in the past, just curious.
What's important and what is not is in the eye of the beholder. If you don't play table games, I can understand how the process and intricacies of ratings is not important to you .
Regarding ratings at table games. I've noticed a big difference depending on who is doing the rating. Certain pit bosses rate at a higher level than others. I believe some of this is based on if they like you generally. On a game like craps, they seem to have some discretion on what they decide your average bet is. Sometimes at the beginning of a roll the bets may be $400, but by mid roll or towards the end of series of rolls the bets could be $2000. They may decide the players average is $2000, or they may never change it from the original $400. I've seen both ends of the spectrum.

This is true. And I have never encountered a situation where an inaccurate rating couldn’t be fixed with the floor prior to leaving. However, variance in floor rating isn’t related to the issue I brought up because the data I was looking at had consistent and accurate time/average bet. The discrepancies I found had to be due to either purposeful or accidental variance in the algorithms used to calculate tier points on a given game.
And floor people, just like so many other employees, are being abused due to staffing issues. the whole experience of working for and being a customer of CET has seen significant, and IMO, unwelcome changes since the acquisition.
This paragraph also applies to you constantly responding to scotch, causing him to respond, causing you to respond, and on and on. Put him on ignore. Problem solved.
It’s weak to be afraid to debate
But just so we are on same page, Scotch was sitting minding his own bizness and Akashenk brought me into it saying I probably like standing in line for the kiosk
Which is ridiculous because there are no lines for the kiosks
But if I do go on ignore I’ll ask Akashenk to be polite to the CR desk workers and not get in their face
He thinks there is some possible conspiracy even though it’s a drop in the bucket compared with slots that can’t be rigged
And they don’t even bother turning off poker during the 5x multiplier even though it’s supposed to be excluded and would be low hanging fruit
Then says I need to be quiet because I don’t play table games. But I don’t need to in order to apply simple logic
I was more referring to a fact that just about anything could be described as "either purposeful or accidental", but yeah Occam's razor

It’s not a conspiracy, if it is happening. It’s just a crappy anti-customer policy, just like all the other ones which have come about in recent years.
And you don’t need to be quiet. You have simply demonstrated your ignorance on the subject. Of course being ignorant of something never stopped anybody from having and even sharing a strong opinion. So carry on. Your comments will continue to receive their due consideration.

Lol I’m boring of this so I’ll probably be more quiet, but I’m not the only indicating that you are overreacting
But please spare me the drama queen stuff about “demonstrating ignorance!”
Caesars Rewards doesn’t owe you anything. You asked me what would would I do if they got rid of the free drink tickets. I wouldn’t get Diamond Plus and would be at their casinos a lot less. But I wouldn’t be angry about it. It’s not my style and I’d substitute other stuff

You don’t know what I’m talking about, yet you feel the need to provide unhelpful commentary. That’s not drama.
And I think if you, or anyone else, found out they were being misled about something, they would be angry about it. But who knows with you. Everything is awesome.
Just got my 10x TC multiplied credits from the promotion in Reno. Wound up playing 10-handed quarter denom full-pay JoB to grind out TCs.
Eldorado seems to be devaluing TCs to entice more people to chase status, which I'm actually a fan of. I earned over 40k TC during this trip which cost me very little in expected loss. One more of these events and I'm diamond elite for 2 years, which means 2 free trips to Vegas.

Good job!
Actuaries love their Caesars Rewards
Softie
And I was the guy who gave you the correct information on where you could get your celebration dinner. Others like Akashenk were incorrect.
Somebody quote me so this fine gent can reconsider
Long Live SODR. I think it's great that someone is actually happy with a large corporation like Caesers.

Thanks for quoting me!
Yeah I try and stay even keel and realistic. Scotch maneuvers around some of the difficulties of the program, takes full advantage of any cracks, and enjoys the rewards while they exist.
I don’t see why I should hate them. Many nice free dinners, free drinks at restaurants and pools, and hop over 100 person cash game wait list. It’s been said I’m supposed to be angry because they make me swipe my card at a kiosk, but I’m not.

I mostly agree. Free drinks, free Diamond dinner at Ramsay's skipping a long ass line, my whole family ate like kings all off of my reward points in vegas for 3.5 days, free room at Paris too for 3 nights.

Great to hear it bud
Everything good eventually comes to an end, here’s hoping the party goes on for awhile though
I’m sure this is buried somewhere above but I don’t feel like scrolling endlessly.
Usually hit LV 2-3 times per year but since the WSOP last June we haven’t been out, mostly b/c of the race nonsense. Anyway, will be there 2/14 to 2/20.
Does anyone have a recent listing of locations where the celebration dinner money can be used?
Had reservations on 2/14 at Don Vito’s at South Point, however, due to the 5X the first two days we will be there, we will just stay local (Caesar’s properties), to smack some tier credits but are looking for an up to date restaurant list for Diamond dinner…
Thanks!

If you go to rewards desk I think they can give you a piece of paper with listing
I have one from a year ago but not sure if online. What type of food/place were you looking to go? I can give you some places or a ya or nay from list I have

Thanks, but with it being V-Day the day we arrive I was hoping to secure a reservation at one of the places from the list. Having a current, known list in advance was the purpose for my ask. [emoji41] I know the list can/does change often.
Had Italian reservation at South Point originally, so was hoping Italian for Wednesday 2/14 possibly too. Doing steak possibly Thursday at The Orleans and definitely Friday at Joes Stone Crab already, so was hoping to avoid something like that upon arrival, if that makes sense.

Almafi in Caesars and Giada at Cromwell on list
If want to go there I’m sure they can confirm ya or nay when making reservation if call
Giada does. Used mine last year there without issue.
