Hi everyone! It’s the holiday season so figured I’d start this thing off. 2 weeks until we go to Vegas for two full week
Took the $510 profit after 5 hours at Aria and went to check out this fairly new place and HOLY **** their food is amazing. Especially the spicy watermelon hit the spot! Highly recommend.

Yeah, noon is when I started, on a string of tables near the front podium.
All I had to do was complain a bit and managed to pack it in with gutshot + flush draw vs a set of kings and hit a flush on turn and straight flush on river for 1k pot:

hitting a 2-card straight flush feels SO good (from my limited experience), especially if there is a high-hand bonus.
There was a wait list at Aria so had to go with the second best option. 500 at blackjack into:

I'm curious what's your TR process - do you quickly capture important hands right after the hand and then write a detailed TR later on or are you writing it as you go? Or are you a genius replaying all this from memory later?

Thanks, hugely appreciated 😀 My thought process is definitely flawed at times, but I try to base a lot of it on what I have learned at 'Crush Live Poker'. So if you want to improve your game, I strongly suggest to sign up there. And I can guarantee I am not paid to say this.
I am writing down quick details as soon as the hand is finished, and when I then get in front of a computer I just need to look at my notes to jog the memory and remember the hand, the opponent types etc. A typical note can look like this (I write parts of it in Norwegian for myself, but would work just as well in English):
"Two l3 raise ATdd 16 CO, BB call, l-f. T-9-4 two c one d. C $15 fold."
(two limps for $3, I raise ATdd to $16 from cutoff, BB calls, and limpers fold. T-9-4 two clubs one diamond. He checks, I bet $15, he folds).
After doing this for all trips for 6 years now (where did the time go?), I am very used to it and have found a system that works for me. If I have a specific strategic thought during a hand that I think is important to mention, I also try to include it. But most of the times it's not really necessary, as it all comes back to me when I read the short version.
(and I am very honest with the thought process I have during hands, both good and bad).

One final update for tonight. After winning 600 at Aria I had some food at Park MGM and after hit a blackjack table for $500 and had THE SICKEST shoe of my life. Cashed out $1200 profit in like 10 minutes.
And with that ladies and gentlemen and non-binaries WE ARE OUT OF THE HOLE!

Straddle $6 with KTo, 4 callers. Late position make it $25 I call so does 3 others. Flop Q98r. Original raiser makes it 55 into like $150, I call. Turn is a J, I check and he now makes it $150. I ship it right into his face for 600. He calls with JJ and river is a brick [emoji3464].
