SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
Oh, now I know your B6 and I think the other B6 is much better with a chance to get it in one. Then I still think D3 is a better follow up than L4, which I know DZ disagrees with.
Why go d3 ever when lots of b words can do the same thing? better to leave us with 2 different L4s that get it every time
Unless b6 is the same thing as the L4s, but I canβt think of a b6 that is an L4
I think b6 gets them not on d3 and then when we go d3 they may think of something slightly different so it may take 3 if unluckyβ¦but I get why yβall like it
Your b6 is what I originally had as something that could lead them a bit astray, tho d3 brings that back, but still there are 3 ways to go with b6 then d3 so I worry a little
I do agree that your b6 has a much higher shot at one card get than going with the other path, so maybe thatβs enough to counter the options, and the right word should be in the top 2 of the 3 choices so itβs prolly like 40% 1, 50% 2 and 10% 3 turns while b6+l4 is like 20% 1, 80% 2
So sure Iβm on board with that b6 then d3

My B6 is a synonym for L4, yes.
Iβm confused, do you know what this B6 is or not? The post above indicates you donβt but the subsequent posts indicate you do.
Yeah I realized it was the b6 I first thought about in my first post but then discounted because I didnβt think itβd get there, but with d3 it does, so now Iβve come around to it being a good path to take
Hmm as we discuss this might be america v usa.
In uk l4 is a lock but i dont know what b6 is and given its a synonym i should
Your L4 is fine, and is what Iβve been referring to the whole time.
Better than fine, itβs another literal synonym
Take the b6 then if its a synonym
B is a lousy letter too so a good one to lose
Iβm going to bold B6 soon unless there are any serious objections. If they donβt get it given all the context, then we can fight it over between D3 and L4.
If they cant work out d3 off l4 ill eat my phone
bridle
t6
b6
b7
d3
and i think L4?
im too mentally exhausted to think though
So a bridle is either the leather thing that goes in a horse's mouth or it's the leather straps attached to the thing that goes in the horse's mouth. Or it's both of those. And for the life of me I can't think of a T6, B6, B7, or L4 that is related to anything to with horses. And I can't even think of a D3, which should be pretty easy to come up with.
Then there's a broader definition of bridle which is a verb, and it's something like showing distaste or disdain or being offended. "Bolt and Filthy both bridled at the suggestion that they couldn't quickly come up with the answer to the game on 2P2." So maybe we should be going down that path.

oh good thought on bridle the verb, like to get offended. that might be the direction they're trying to lead us
would be funny if they meant bridal, and misspelled it lol
and idk if it makes a difference, or if im even right lol .... but i don't think the bridal is the part that goes in the mouth. i think that's called "the bit", which might be part of the bridle? lol idk... but i think the bridle is the headgear that connects the reigns to the bit, and the horse's head
D3 dog
L4 lead
T6 tether
could it be leash?
I'm still stuck on d3 being dog. And a bridle for a dog is a leash.

does this post work with leash?
what are lots of B words that can do the same thing as dog? breeds of dogs? like bulldog or basenji?
and what are 2 L4 words that get it every time? lead is one, but what is the other?
but if it's not leash, i can't think of another good guess :(
i can't think of anything if the clue is for the other meaning of bridal, getting defensive
i think we're gonna have to guess leash either way, and probably be wrong, but sounds like we'll get it on the next one
If it's bridle the verb I think they clue "bridled" to distinguish it.
And if they misspelled bridal that's not on us.
