Wrestling- NVG (SPOILERS inside view at your own risk)
Figured we can have a thread to talk about upcoming storyline returns and tv tapings
Okada is leaving NJPW.
I'd be certain he will end up in AEW and that's probably the best place for him to succeed but hearing the coin drop after a Royal Rumble countdown would be unforgettable.

Would be amazing, but Okada's contract isn't up until after the Rumble.
It's pretty shocking that he's leaving. NJPW lost a ****-ton of main event talent this past year.
WWE Raw will be exclusively on Netflix starting in 2025.
If somebody paid WWE $1B per year to only be broadcast on the moon, they would probably do it.
Netflix will probably spike the price to something like $25 per month. Too many things to subscribe to just to watch wrestling.
AEW has to be thrilled.
So you need Netflix to watch raw, peacock to watch ppvs
Lol
And regular cable to watch Smackdown.
It depends where you’re at (i.e. in the US or not). Internationally, Netflix will host everything WWE, including Smackdown.
That Netflix deal is $5 billion for 10 years.
Ice Train, of modest WCW fame (most notoriously teamed with Scott f'n Norton), has passed away. RIP.
Of all the odd things, I find this out by clicking into a headline that says "1990s pro wrestler and former Steve Austin opponent dies."

Vince sued for more Weinstein-style sexual misconduct.
Text of the court filing. You may need eyebleach after reading this.
god damn
Vince saying he got "bad advice" to step away last year. Like they think sex trafficking is bad or something.
After reading Vince's messages and "activities" with this woman, I think he has a pretty tight alibi. He was just working out some Raw storylines. That part where he takes a dump on her head and leaves the two of them in bed to go shower was actually used for the Revival I think.
Vince makes his buddy, President Grab Them by the Pussy, look like a boy scout.
Remember, this is a man who is said to be disgusted by sneezing, but at least he's bonding with lower level employees.
Now we know why Brock walked out when Vince initially left, but can't wait till he drags some of the more respected talent like Cena and Taker into this.
Man Vince is some kinda piece of work
Vince stepped down, again. Hopefully this time they don't let him back in any capacity.
Wow Vince WTF!!!
Interesting to see this play out...
"I stand by my prior statement that Ms. Grant's lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth," McMahon said in the statement. "I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.
-the guy who resigned
Look I realize it’s innocent til proven guilty but shout out to Vince on being the rare kind of guy where you can unequivocally say ‘ya, he did that ****’
This is interesting and if true, good for Shane.
I was thinking about last night how awful it is for not only the kids who are grown up, but the grandkids to have to deal with this. It's not often I feel bad for people who have all the money in the world, but here we are.
Is he saying the messages from him are fake?

I can't really feel for most of any of the adults in this and I hugely disagree that this is "good for Shane".
Steph, Shane and HHH may have disagreed, disliked and argued with vince for years, but they still let him go on with what he did and profited hugely from it.
Casual fans have known for decades how big of a scumbag vince is, so obviously anyone close to him and his business have known all that we know and much, much more and they still let him carry on with it.
They all showed up and promoted vince and his product pretty much to this day.
And "well, yes, but I didn't like it..." is not a great excuse.
It says he shut down the shenanigans in front of high level executives and it is one of the reasons Shane left. Not sure what more he could have done if he didn't have evidence of a specific incident. Leaving the company is a pretty big sign that he didn't approve of the way Vince was acting/operating.

He still came back. Repeatedly. And I'm pretty sure he knew that vince had not changed into a better person when he did.
