Wrestling- NVG (SPOILERS inside view at your own risk)
Figured we can have a thread to talk about upcoming storyline returns and tv tapings
It's nice to think we'd all be the hero of our own story when it came to it, but I'm not sure how much more Shane should be expected to do. It's still his father and an extremely powerful man. I can't blame the man for not publicly taking down his own father.
Look what happened after Vince stepped down the first time. He was welcomed back to the board with open arms.
Hell, he'd probably still be cheered in many arenas around the country if he showed up tonight.

He obviously would. You just have to go to reddit.com/r/WWE/ to see a lot of posts from people blindly defending him right now.
Obviously growing up with vince as a dad was not easy and I'm not saying they should've given their life to take him down.
I'm not saying I blame them for what they did (or didn't) do - I'm just saying that at best what they did(n't) do is the least of what they could/should've and it's not something deserving of praise.
The one thing that did seem odd from some of the messages was that, at least at times, she did seem complicit and a willing participant. As depraved as his actions were, if she was okay with it, maybe that's his defense?
If her problem was not that he did all these things, but instead that he just didn't pay her for them...
Although, I don't claim to know the whole story. I've only seen bits and pieces and playing devil's advocate for a minute. I doubt any of us have a frame of reference of someone acting like this, which could help us better understand it.

Friend of mine said that Vince & Trump are the modern day SNL Wild & Crazy Guys skit. I chuckled.
Ice Train, of modest WCW fame (most notoriously teamed with Scott f'n Norton), has passed away. RIP.
Of all the odd things, I find this out by clicking into a headline that says "1990s pro wrestler and former Steve Austin opponent dies."
Would it be possible to figure out my age simply from the phrase "I always kinda liked Ice Train"?

She was an employee who feared for her job. True or not, that's the definition of sexual harassment and is a big reason why someone in a higher position shouldn't be involved with a subordinate in a relationship at work.
Again, playing devil's advocate, there is no job I can ever conceive of anyone ever having where they allow someone to do the things Vince did to her and talk the way he did without it being part of what you are being paid for.
He's going to argue that she was into it.
There’s no point in playing devil’s advocate, here.
Punk reportedly suffered a torn tricep during the rumble and is out for Mania. Getting surgery asap.
Holy ****ing lol
Assuming he tore it taking the McIntyre spot, finishing the rumble with a torn tricep is pretty ****ing badass, won’t lie
A+
Ironically Drew's story makes a lot more sense than the story Cody's finishing. Hope he gets the belt at Mania though I doubt Rollins loses it because he's Seth freaking Rollins
I doubt it happens but if they’re committed to the idea of punk main eventing WM, turn drew, strap a rocket to his back cuz his heat is going to be legendary, have him beat seth night one while cody beats reigns in the main
When punk does back give him a main event or two with drew where drew goes over, have punk win the rumble and go over drew night 2 for the title
How long would this plan require Punk to stay healthy for?
Longer than he’s capable of I’m sure
Lol, get used to it. He was hurt for most of his AEW run.
Or they could just do a legit handicap match at WM. A one-armed man vs a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest for the Raw title.
Regardless of punk, drew over seth and Cody over roman makes the most sense
I do wonder if they’ll pivot and have Cody over seth and rock v roman
Did Drew McIntyre stop being bland and uncompelling when I wasn’t looking or something? I just assumed when they closed out a PPV with him singing awkwardly after not winning the belt that he would float away and never be seen again. He’s going to be in another Mania non-main main?
He had a good heel promo on Punk Monday night. Maybe he was just a bland babyface (as most are).
I kinda gave up on him too when he started carrying the fake sword.
I've been following this Scott D'Amore/TNA situation a little and what a shitty situation for him.
He loved the product, made it watchable again, but was shot down and fired when he wanted to spend more money.
He even had backing to buy the company, but Anthem would rather cut costs and keep it, putting an exec in charge, which they'll probably end up regretting.
Sounds like a lot of the top talent that had other options want out with him gone and it's not because he was sharing dirty pictures with them either.
