WOW
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW
Holy ****ing ****.
That was intentional grounding. In the pocket and didnβt reach line of scrimmage
This was a 20 yard missed call. Could cost the chiefs the game
The ball did make it back to the LOS out of bounds. I think the rule is that the ball can be out of bounds but has to travel that far in the air.
MVP! MVP!
Holy ****
EM VEE PEE
LAMAR
ZAY
omg
It transpires that Lamar is a bit on the good side
Stats simply do not describe how great that play is.
That ball was put right on the money.

Yep I'm right.
Item 1. Passer or Ball Outside Tackle Position. Intentional grounding will not be called when a passer, who is outside, or has been outside, the tackle position, throws a forward pass that lands at or beyond the line of scrimmage, even if no offensive player(s) have a realistic chance to catch the ball (including when the ball lands out of bounds over the sideline or endline). If the ball crosses the line of scrimmage (extended) beyond the sideline, there is no intentional grounding. If a loose ball leaves the area bordered by the tackles, this area no longer exists; if the ball is recovered, all intentional grounding rules apply as if the passer is outside this area

I missed the play in question but this is definitely the rule. QB still has to be out of the pocket. Tho it's surprising how narrow the pocket actually is
That was great work by Zay too.
Whatβs that βoooooβ thing baltimore does in the middle for the anthem about?
Originally heard during the national anthem for Orioles games (The O's - get it?) the first time I heard it in person I actually jumped, lol, it's loud
thats irrelevant because there was a receiver in the area the ball went right over his head
Oh if this is the case then the convo is moot. You're totally allowed to air mail the ball 100 ft over a receiver's head out of bounds no matter whether you're in the pocket or not or whether it gets to the LOS or not.
