It's likely good if you think this opponent will call with AQ, AJ type hands on the flop and then stab the river. They might don't give you credit for checking a good hand on the turn, but I think with A high there's nothing they can do.

In theory I think that you're too far up in your range to turn this into a bluff. Better hands would be 87s, JTs etc. That way you get more hands to fold. I also think you rep value quite thin when taking this line. It will be player dependent to an extent, but in my experience getting fancy with river bluffs against unknowns has not worked out well.

I don't particularly like it. I don't expect fold equity to be great once we xb the turn.

Additionally, the kind of hands that you say are trying to make fold (better Ax/mediocre PPs) are blocked by your hand and unlikely to bet the river anyway.

That doesn’t apply to river bluff raises though, often you’ll be raising weak pairs because they block sets/2p

There's no way I'd be raising weak pairs vs a river bet on this board. Better to be polar with bluffs/re-raise bluffs IMO.

You could bet turn. Onece we check our plan should be only to put money more money if we improve or we get card that's good for our range like a K.

This is just random raise that reps no hand and you'll get called by every bluff catcher.

No info on villain

Probably not the greatest idea at 2nl to be shovelling in money with A high on the river with no reads.

Villain is uncapped otr. He can have 9x still as well as 66. Is he folding hands like 77, 55, 88 - at 2nl? Probably not enough to make this profitable.
