NBA 2024-25 Season Thread
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Brunson is snap 3rd team with strong consideration for 2nd team.
You guys can’t keep dogging him. I also heard a rumor he’s dating the burgeoning rap superstar Coi Leray.
Doc has not run one play for Giannis since the 6 minute mark and is letting Middleton brick all over the place. lol doc
Giannis attacking >>> Middleton dribbling.
He’s scored every possession except 1 brooke Lopez 3 since I wrote that
Cam Whitmore is gonna be the Haliburton of this draft class
Boston has missed 2 shots total in the 2nd quarter. 64/57/90 splits at half...
Draymond with a foul before the clock even starts
This ****ing guy man
And there’s another suspension
Right on my dude
What did he do?
I'm curious to see the shenanigans with that 65 games rules.
Would not be shocked that by the end of the season, we see some players start, take a foul and leave. especially considering those awards have impact on future $$$
It's 65 games of 20 minutes or more
Haliburton is a bitch for complaining about the 65 games rule. You get paid generational wealth for putting a ball through a hoop. I can think you can show up to work 79% of the time if you wanna qualify for bonuses.
I say make it 82 games.

Have to play 20 min. to qualify.
65 games seems fair to me. The real issue is tying contract incentives to things like All-NBA. The Rose Rule is the issue, not the 65 game threshold.
No idea why the NBAPA agreed to tie huge chunks of their best player's salaries to a media award, but they did so...
Lol Bucks are so fraudulent. They’re like the anti-Knicks.

I ****ing love it.
**** Pop. And **** load management
Brunson gonna make Hali his baby back bitch tomorrow night!
Sometimes I think theres some real physcology in sports, and this may
have been 1 of those games. Damian Lillard returns to Portland and
the bucks just don't play well.
Well see if the bucks can play well when it counts.
I lost faith in Embiid after he left the other night with a knee injury I think?
So its Boston and the Bucks for the east imop. No other team has a shot
unless they make a big move.
After Joel went down I was gonna bet the Joker to win MVP. I think its a lock
but the linesmakers agree and he's -120 to win it. He might be the biggest
mvp favorite i've seen in a long time
How come on the NBA page when you look at the game listings many teams have a record that has far fewer games played than their actual season record? What is this other record?
Knicks are 14-2 in the last 16 games but yeah “they can’t win the East”. I swear some of you hate on GO NY GO NY GO so much that if they went 82-0 you still wouldn’t be a believer.

Hey now, they have a truly exceptional record of failure to their credit. We have been able to count on the Knicks sucking for decades now.
Maybe things are different this year. Or maybe they’ll be the same old Knicks and immediately lose to Cleveland or something.
This isn't load management tho, this is an injury.
Haliburton's choices now are to either try and play when you're not 100% and risk further injury or give up $50M.
The Pacers' choices are actually the opposite. Sit your star player in the "hope" he misses a few more games and you save $7M AAV, or play him and keep him happy.
Obviously the team needs to protect players from themselves, but this whole thing is full of perverse incentives that don't need to be here.
There isn't really an easy answer here. The Pacers are playing Haliburton 20 min per game now so he meets the requirement for a game played but wasn't able to help his team in a close game late @BOS two night ago. Now we just get the worst of both worlds.
Kawhi is shooting 44% on 3s this year and basically playing at goatish levels again
