Nice run MuckPls!

If all your shopping is paid by Vegas, is March too early in that regard?

Did we hear how you turned 1K in to 5K+? I think I might have missed it.

Way too soon for March. I have a ton of work until June as our product is coming out of beta in the coming weeks.

Not too much about the 1k to 5.5k run, was mostly standard hands up to 3k and then I played one of my biggest hands ever. Had $300 on one box, got 8-8 vs a 5. Split and get 8-8 on both. Split those two too and all four splits got 2-2-3-3. So all four doubles face down obviously and dealer busted for a $2400 hand. Was so insane, almost had a heart attack by the time the dealer busted.

hey Muck, Whale...just grinded through the entire report - not sure why, but I haven't been in LVL in Jan. maybe because I don't think I'll make Vegas this year

thank you both for the effort you put into the report - it was an excellent one and it really got my juices flowing and
made me start thinking about finding a way to get there. Most importantly though, it seemed like you both had fun trips.

wowee. were there other people at the table? That would have caused a scene I'd have thought?

Yes there were 2 other guys at the table. A very very drunk Asian guy and another who had just joined the table a few minutes before. Funny thing is, 30 minutes before I was down to my last $100 chip, absolutely hating life and saying to myself that I will most likely go home with $0. And then we caught some heat, then the double happened and I snap cashed out immediately headed to the airport despite having over 4 hours left to my flight. I was like I’m not risking it this time!

Landing in Vegas 12th of April and staying until 29th of April. PLO friend who I’ve mentioned a couple of times in previous threads will be there at the same time and we’ll be sharing rooms for 2 weeks.

I was initially going to book June but I had 3 general problems:

1, WSOP and tourneys will make cash game waiting lists very long and annoying

2, it’s probably going to be pretty hot already

3, I have a couple of other plans for the summer

Anywho, will put together a new thread when the time comes. Who knows, maybe BigWhale joins too.

Don't worry, you can always book June later. Welcome back, safe travels.

As always, looking forward to another MuckPls TR!

The best thing to do during WSOP is WSOP and other tourneys. Some people like WSOP cash games because WSOP bustouts are less likely to go to another place to play cash. Or they hang around because another tournament starts in a couple hours.

Downside is no comps.

And yes it will be hot, unless the earth pivots so that the north pole faces the sun, like some are predicting.

Yeah I agree, if you play tourneys it’s amazing. Just doesn’t fit with my plans at the moment, during my April trip I will have to work a bunch as well so would make tourneys next to impossible. And losing even more time waiting for games would suck.

What I was also trying to say, but did so poorly, is the WSOP cash games seem to be quick to get into because of the volume.

There are a few downsides - no auto shufflers, I think.
No comps.
And sometimes the list people don't pay attention to the list much. If that's the case just walk around and ask if a seat's open, they're usually happy to have you sit.

As another usual lurker this has been an amazing TR (yet again). Congrats on the BJ run at the end and please do post another when you head over in April.

Great TR, thanks for posting!

Just finished the thread, thank you both for sharing, really enjoyed virtually tagging along for the ride!

Awesome TR Big Whale and Muck! Just finished reading it and wanted to pass along my appreciation. Looking forward to your next one!
