saw a post on twitter

now the few times ive seen D jackson he has always been cool but no way these prices are a good deal , i personally have mgm grand for around 100 total for those 4 nights but i put in plenty of action but i cant see 600 a night being right.
what is the correct prices for aria/linq/rio etc for those 4 nights.
Yeah those prices are legit. I can usually get comped rooms for all but the absolute busiest peak times. I logged in to my MGM rewards and selected Friday thru Sunday night. Here’s the average rate per night available for me…
jesus christ i must give too much action is i get them much cheaper at 20 a night avg
will have to see what boyd property gets me now.
seems excessive
Dan Jackson? Dave Jackson? Dirk Jackson?
Mine are 365/day avg at PHo and 709/day avg at Caesars.
Horseshoe

My rates are the same as yours, but then this shows up out of nowhere. Comes with $60 in free play and $100 in resort credit too. All of a sudden I'm thinking I might drive to Vegas next weekend, lol.

yeah that's what I was thinking. a bunch of my gambler friends have it comped or under 50 a night,
i personally got 4 nights for under 100 total(i obviously dont pay resort fees ) , i did put in a lot of volume last year , but the price i got and how high they charging , i thought they were overcharging.
Before last night I hadn't even considered driving up there next weekend. I assumed prices would be through the roof...and they are. But this thread caused me to check my offers, and now we're driving up early Saturday morning for 2 nights. Mrs_outlaw has something going on Friday evening, otherwise we'd drive up then. Now to find somewhere to actually watch the game.
Thanks Myrna!

No, the prices in the OP are very reasonable. My offers through MGM were identical to the ones in the second post of this thread. But for whatever reason, Excalibur was $75 per night. I booked Saturday-Monday for a total of $193 including resort fees and tax(also includes$60 of free play and $100 in resort credit). We may add Friday to it even though we can't get there till after midnight. Friday night was like $17 + resort fees and taxes.
I have no idea why Excalibur was priced that way but I'm not complaining.

tip a 10 or 20 and ask for a room in one of the first 7 floors if you want a little more room. it might not work that weekend but it usually always does.
that trick usually works for the staywell rooms too, they are cleaned much better but im thinking that weekend it might not work.
yeah very surprised considering how close Excalibur is to all the action.
Yep, I always do the $20 trick, usually with great success. But I'm writing that $20 off this time, lol
We added Friday night to our stay at a rate of $18.41 + resort fees & taxes. I still don't know why I had that offer since I haven't even been to Vegas since Nov 2022. I'm back down to Sapphire and have exactly 0 tier credits right now. But $242.43 total for 3 nights over Superbowl weekend with $160 in free play and resort credit? I'll take it.

Staywell? What are the other rooms, becomediseased?
3 nights at Excaliber for me, Friday to Monday, are $1750 total.

That’s a crazy good offer! I’ve been in Vegas during the last two Super Bowls but didn’t wanna experience the level of crazy that’ll happen this year hosting the game.
Yeah, it makes no sense. When I checked room rates without logging into my rewards account, $1750 is about what it showed for the 3 nights. My wife, who has been more recently than me but gambles a lot less, has it for around $175\night.
found out i get Orleans almost comped basically that weekend. i guess the sports betting does help.
i'm a bit confused on cash vs comp (implied/imputed value)
SHOCKINGLY,
i see circus and strat at $80 per night friday to monday (checkout)... these are the standard.hotels for cheap hotels on the strip (poorly located on strip)
and MGM at $160 per night.
i assumed.superbowl would be like FI weekend
