English Premier League 2023-24 Thread
2022-2023 Saw Manchester City’s Death Star become fully operational winning the Premier League with 89 points by e
Yea its gonna be 5-4 to the Northern Oilers
Looking forward to Garth Crooks 'team of the week' he has to put a Luton player or 2 in it surely
There are people leaving. If it gets to four I'll be joining them
lol @ quitting the stadium 20mins in
To the pub!
Feel bad for their fans. Even totally outmatched you gotta prevent going 4 down in a half hour.
Someone remind me how we were winning at Villa Park in stoppage time less than two months ago
Everybody scores who wants here
So our reaction to being 4-0 down is to take off a striker for a deep lying playmaker, immediately concede, then make a double sub doing a like for like change at left back and taking off a creative midfielder for a utility player whose only attribute is he can cover lots of yards
Tbf at 4-0 I'd put the kids on and prepare for next week.
Potter sitting in for every game that is played is pretty great
The banter of VAR calling that offside
no idea how any foul pulls back a goal if the newcastle 4th goal today stands. Barkley gets pretty obviously fouled into an immediate goal literally 4 seconds after.
Think Spurs is like the opposite of an influential oil club.
Warnock is going to Aberdeen[emoji23]
He applied for the Aberdeen job in the past (they didn't bother even replying to him). Did an interview with Sky before where he said he always wanted to try managing in Scotland and is a Rangers fan. Unsure how the last part is going to go down in Aberdeen.
Also, slabhead starting today apparently.
lolsea
no me gusto
At what point does Poch look vulnerable? I know they’ve been a bit unfortunate with some of their results but this is quite bad given the money they’ve spent.
Another pretty ridiculous flattering win for Utd. West ham been the better side for most of this one.
He’s bottom table..you knowwwwww..Mauricio Pochettino..
Havertz can't finish but luckily Saka can.
Theorycrafting q for those who just saw the Saka goal
Assuming 0-0, in what minute should Konate have stuck his hands out? Would you pretty much only do that in deep stoppage time?
