I kinda prefer Traylor over Tayvis. Also not sure if I want to dress the kid like Kelce.

I just don't see how KC pulls this off. I'm not sure KC got this far by raising their game as much as their opponents played down to their level (I'm talking about Buf and Bal; Miami just sucks). With two weeks to prepare and superior talent, I think SF wins this easily. It will be like a TB vc KC superbowl level thrashing.

Why doesn't ROG just push the kickoff back several hours?

Obviously I want to believe this, but if you haven’t been paying close attention to the 9ers before the playoffs you probably missed that Wilks is probably the single worst coordinator on either side in all of football. If Ryans were still the DC Niners are favored by at least 7

The Niners have maybe the most talent on defense of any team in football and that buffoon not only can’t figure out how to scheme anything to stop anyone that isn’t just talent winning out, he has the nerve to sit and bitch that people are giving him too much crap. Zero competence and zero accountability is a pretty bad combo

Pacheco is the wild card in all this. If he runs on the Niners even 75% as dominant as Jones and the lions did this is going to be a ****ing nightmare. If wilks finally figured out how to call plays with a passable level of success, then maybe not

Also, Chiefs have the GOAT.

Had a $25 bonus bet on DraftKings and whipped this up for the Superb Owl:

+575
Deebo 50+ receiving yards
Kelce 70+ receiving yards
CMC 80+ rushing yards
Pacheco 60+ rushing yards

not sure about a blowout but i do think SF has a lot of the intangible factors in their favor

1. Revenge factor from the last time they met in the SB
2. the Nothing to Lose factor from basically coming back from the dead in the NFC title game. kind of like Michigan this year after they snuck by Bama in the semis or KC last year when they were very fortunate to make it past Cincy
3. the Nobody thinks we can do it factor, most great teams carry a chip on their shoulder whether its real or perceived, and everyone and their mother seems to be picking KC right now

I’d say 1-3 have negligible impact in the outcome

As Isiah Pacheco goes, so goes the K.C. Chiefs.

A 90 yard game and a TD by Pacheco outta be enough.

Hellmuth was right was wrong

the 29ers eked out home wins vs the nfc north ... they ain't thrashing nobody

Well both of those teams did also beat the Chefs.

No one is a bigger pessimist about their own team than I am, so I definitely understand where you're coming from. I think you're gonna be fine. But I get it. Mahomes should make anyone nervous.

yeah, 1-point week one loss to the lions, and an 8-point loss at lambo. funny their biggset loss all season was 15 to the boncos. others were by 3, 4 and 6.

actually between the chefs d being Actually Good, mahomes being mahomes, and bork being bork, i feel like a 29ers blowout is probably the most unlikely outcome

Last time these two teams played in the Super Bowl was the month before the pandemic blew up

This time is right when America is about to probably go to war with Iran

Mebbe for the good of humanity no more chefs Niners super bowls

Loss to Lions was the Kadarius Toney game (vol. 1), loss to the Packers that ridiculous non PI call.

They had two terrible losses (Broncos, Raiders) and a couple pretty ugly wins though.

Chiefs also beat the Ravens pretty handily, who destroyed SF. If you're into that kind of thing.

I’m not

A blowout in either direction would shock the hell out of me. I can see a garbage time svore making it a 2 score game but my money’s on one team catching up to the other

need the refs to get involved, followed by a last second game-winning td for bork or kelce for all the takes

Refs aren't gonna want a blowout or a defensive struggle.

Please tell me Cheffers is working this game.

If anything reffs will get involved in keeping it competitive as long as possible. If that means a bad DPI call, a blown whistle that prevents a turnover, a pick 6 that becomes roughing the passer, etc., then so be it.
