Regular Run of the Mill NO LIST Codenames!
Post if you want in, ideally 8 people but the normal game - guess your stuff and ideally go fast bolding away a guess at a time(Snapguess + guess + etc). Spirit of the game is to just bold away at what you think, keep 0-1 max backup and go quick.

everything is meh after grass, but i think i'd go park next. then... shoe? idk
Yea I liked those some...cotton seemed like it could work too
To me just dropping stuff on the ground seemed kinda strong
I hope something like ground missile isn't a thing. But the more I think about it the more I like drop(to the ground, on the ground)
Park seems great too, coulda been grounds but would be more confusing for other stuff and imagine this is what the clue wants

Yea I mean ok, seems like dropping stuff on the ground is stronger than walking with shoes on the ground but fine w it if outvoted, don't feel super duper strongly
shoes are ~always in contact with the ground. one of those inherent connections. drop could be anything

Straw is the only clear one for me.
I could see snowman since a slurpee is a frozen drink, but Frosty would’ve been clearer, and I assume Wendy’s exists in Oz.
Drop too for the liquid connection.

Frosty might not bring in straw, as there's a very famous Frosty that has nothing to do with the drink.
So I'm pretty good with straw/snowman, and would be quite surprised if either wasn't ours.
Meh on drop, but not much else works here. I guess server is possible as a catchall for the food retail industry, but that is also meh. I don't really see anything else I like.
I kinda like cotton for cotton candy as the reason for slurpee to get the flavor; but it's a bit risky
slurpee is the brand name for 7/11 ice drinks; like Icee and Slush Puppy are brands
I'm not sure what they call them in Australia and if this is a Kleenex/Coke sorta thing or if he's thinking of 7/11 (do they have those in Australia?)
I guess I don't see a 7/11 word on the board anyway
but not a huge fan of server as you don't usually get served a slushee (or icee or slush puppy)
but it is a general food/drink word so I'm ok with it I guess, but I wish we had a better option
I mean milkshake and smoothie and daquiri also get you straw+snowman for the frozen drink combo
so either cotton candy flavor or drop for the liquid connection as these are more liquidy than those thicker drinks? I dunno
basically, straw/snowman/server is daquiri because you get served those; milkshake and smoothies also hit server harder than slurpee, which is self-service
so I like drop over server
