Super Bowl 58: #3 Kansas City Chiefs vs #1 San Francisco 49ers (-1)
It's gonna be one disappointing drive home.
last chiefs 9ers sb was really boring
This thread is getting wild, it’s probably not that deep.
Seriously this.I don't even remember anyone really hating on Purdy that much on 2p2. Most people think his story is pretty cool and yes we ridiculed him and made jokes about his multi-INT game vs the Ravens.. but we all knew that game was a bit of anomaly. So take a giant chill pill ethbtc. If you continue to blatantly troll then you will face consequences. We all know he isn'
Having a minority opinion isn't trolling. I'm arguing my point of view and I'm right. You just argued against it and you're wrong.
That said, it's your forum and I respect that. If you're instructing me not to explain why people are wrong or state things they're likely to disagree with lest they get riled up by hard truths - I can do that.
Hard to be a 49er fan in this forum with a "don't say anything all these chiefs supporters won't like" tag, but I'll do my best.
Mob rule is good in a lot of ways but one way it's bad is when the mob silences minority viewpoints. Because sometimes they're right. And you just chopped the head off a guy who was smarter than you all.
That's kinda what has happened to 2+2 over the years. Lots of smarter guys had their heads chopped off and here we all are, throwing crayons at each other.
1. You take this **** way too seriously.
2. Don’t do that.
3. You take this **** way too personally.
4. Don’t do that.
5. It’s nearly impossible to have an honest conversation with you because everyone is branded as a “hater” with your broad crayon stroke while you say we’re one big mob.
7. Lighten up Francis.
Go Chiefs!!!
surprised this hasn't been mentioned
49ers displeased with Super Bowl practice field, sources say
Field conditions for the San Francisco 49ers' practice facility at UNLV have been met with widespread disapproval from various members of their organization, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The NFL put in a sod field on top of field turf and started laying it just last week when the NFL ordinarily requires Super Bowl practice fields to meet certain standards in December, sources told Schefter.
The NFL hardness score for fields averages 78, with no field being less than 70. The 49ers field is considered in the 50s, sources told Schefter.
this development should significantly set back the team's preparations and may heighten the chances of an injury before the game
Good thing they have a bye week
I thought in the late 90sish there were a few super bowls without the bye week but can't find it now.

There have been several SBs w/o a bye week.
2002 Season (SB XXXVII) Tampa Bay 48-21 Oakland.
2001 (XXXVI) New England 20-17 St. Louis.
1999 (XXXIV) St. Louis 23-16 Tennessee.
1993 (XXVIII) Dallas 30-13 Buffalo.
1990 (XXV) NY Giants 20-19 Buffalo.
1982 (XVII) Washington 27-17 Miami.
1969 (IV) Kansas City 23-7 Minnesota.
Anyone going to vegas this weekend (and not going to the game)? I can't remember but this feels like the first SB in Vegas and seems like a good chance for some degeneracy.
Was planning on going this weekend but didn’t pull the trigger a few weeks back. To my surprise it’s just as expensive

Forty-Niners?
More like Forty-Whiners!
I made that up. No one can steal it.

I'm driving up Friday night for 3 nights. Got a great deal on a room, but no chance I'm paying for game tickets, even if they drop by 95%. The cheapest thing on SeatGeek is $7800 with fees lol
I once stayed at the Luxor thinking "pyramid stuff is cool". They go wayyyy overboard with the Egyptian theme.
My parents use to take us to the Luxor and it seemed cool as a kid. As I grew older I realized it was decidedly uncool and was just circus circus but on the other side of the strip
I tend to think I overcompensate as an adult for my hotel stays to spoil myself cuz my parents never would when I was a child
I might need to talk to a therapist for this
