Taking shots and the previous stake is boring?

Taking shots and the previous stake is boring?

Hey guys.

Im a 50NL reg and ive been grinding for a while and built enough to take a few shots at 100NL.
Im running and playing good wich means the shots ive taken sofar have been succesful.

Im not properly bankrolled yet for 100NL but find 50NL to instantly become quite boring and slow to play.

How would you proceed? Do i just make the move and if i fail adjust and move back down?

what's more fun than busting your roll?

If you're up for it, consider taking a 2BI shot at NL100.

While there's a risk involved, it won't be catastrophic for your bankroll, and you can bounce back relatively quickly if things don't go as planned.

Taking few days off, works for me. After few days I don't care how low the limits are.

Sounds good. As of now im up 5BI on NL100.. Got a solid case of the rungoods.

Let's say you normally play 4 tables. You could just play 1 or 2 tables of NL100 and the rest at NL50.

You could also only NL100 during peak fish hours.

Exactly my plan!

newguyhere pretty much nailed it in my opinion with this comments....

I would add without knowing how many tables you play maybe just open one 100nl table. Play the rest at 50nl.

Worst thing you can do is completely make the jump too 100nl full-time. It's great if it works....disastrous when it doesn't.

The safest thing just keep grinding till you reach your target bankroll for 100nl. The closer you get to that target the more you could take shots at 100nl.

Those are basically your options.

Cheers!!!

I think you need to sort out your perception. There is no magical leap in quality or 'fun' between stakes, only ego. And if you can crush a stake, you move up naturally anyway

yeah this. I don't know which site you're on OP but I can't see 100NL being really fun and 50NL being boring, doubt they play drastically differently

Change your setting to display stack and pot sizes in of BB instead of $$. That will help you treat different stakes with the same mindset because you wont notice the smaller pots and will alleviate the "boredom" of moving down.

There isn't some drastic difference in play between the two stakes, so this feeling most likely has more to do with the stakes themselves and higher stakes feels more exciting.

If you have good WR you dont need that big of a roll to play, just high tolerance for risk and willingness to go down if you star losing.
