You are not alone. I knew it was a word but had no idea what it was...
I will tell you that after STEAM and BLAST.....well if not for ascot, I am not sure there is another word that would fit. I could not come up with a single option other than ascot.

according to scoredle there were only 2 possibilities after both ROAST and BLAST as second guesses, ASCOT and ASSOT. Neither word i knew other than Ascot being a horse race in the UK where all the posh ****s go.

that's interesting. i assumed there were more but didn't feel like thinking anymore and at worst ASCOT would narrow the possibilities
