somehow i got subbed onto a taylor swift sub or two and it made me realize people will complain about anything? and also care way too much about nonsense.
the alien went to an alien convention where all these people are dressed up as aliens, and he got offended and said "my people are not a costume!" 😆
i wonder if the indigenous people on the show thought of that line

There's a big seagulls vs crows gang fight in my local Dollar Tree parking lot. The birds are swirling above me! The crows land on a lamp post, the seagulls chase them off. Then the crows bomb the roof edge causing seagulls to flee. These birds are exerting serious amounts of energy.

I think they improved the dialog.
The difference between being a parent and being a dog owner, coming from someone who isn't a parent.
My dog had surgery on her leg yesterday and it went about as well as could be. She should be back to 100% in a few weeks. But she has a nasty scar and sutures running down the outside of her hind leg and she'll have to wear the cone of shame for at least 10 days. She's miserable and disoriented and there's no way she's getting good sleep with that thing on.
And I love her to death, but there's no way I'd trade places with her if I could. And I'm pretty sure if I had surgery and had to wear a cone my mom would have traded places with me in an instant.

Tool is amazing.
They were not good at all when I saw them last summer. Nothing about the show made me feel like I was actually "seeing" them instead of just chilling in my room listening to them.
I think they said maybe 50 words outside of their sings in their 1.5h set.
When I saw them it was at a relatively large outdoor festival (Governor's Ball) and people seemed really stoked about it but yeah, I think Maynard Keenan is pretty well documented for not having the best stage presence for a variety of reasons.
Was still quite a good show musically, I'd say.
