I think I like shadow better than fall, just because fall is more easy overlooked. Not a big deal either way though.

I get the hesitance with cloak, but if two of our remaining three words mentioned were bad, then we’re screwed anyway.

Ambulance - they have shelves, even though they are locked down so stuff doesn't fall off, but prolly close enough

Cloak - usually racks, but cloaks can be folded up and stocked on shelves
Czech - not really a shelf related word
Drill - you buy drill off the shelves of a hardware store; maybe store on a tool shelf at home
