Ranger-Flyer game yesterday was awesome! Biased coming from a Rangers fan but it was playoff caliber hockey regardless of the outcome and the finish was exciting as hell. As for Rempe, I love having someone who throws his weight around and brings some much needed grit (cliche alert) to the 4th line. But, if NYR does get to the promised land it will be because Igor continues his excellent play of late and not due to a guy with more penalty minutes than ice time.

Rempe gets another fighting major 2 minutes into the game (again) lol. Had nothing to do with any play on the ice from what I saw. Rempe and Columbus's goon dropped gloves at mid-ice away from the action. He didn't fare so well tonight tho when the gloves were dropped. But he did come back and get an assist later on which is a positive.
I'm not a hockey coach but doesn't the Rangers coach need to say to Rempe something like "We need you on the ice, not in the penalty box so don't fight unless absolutely necessary" at some point?
Was huge on Kane and Debrincat today, really worked out for me.

have seen that the caps are complete trash these days, constantly getting their asses kicked, but only just noticed how ovenchicken's dropped off. minutes have fallen a little, shot attempts and shooting % at a career low, and as a result only has 16 goals on the season. only 56 behind gretzky's goal record, which seemed inevitable at one point, but now? it'll take at least 2 more seasons at this rate, maybe more if he keeps slipping ... he's 38.5 years old rn. is he gonna get there after all? will he just keep going even if it takes 3-4 years of powerplay clappers? might as well i guess
He has 11g, 13a in last 21 games. Pretty good lately. Start of the year was rough.

i even looked at a couple of their box scores lately and he didn't score. just some assists like today
his drop off has been considerable imo, think i've only played him like 2x all year and he was a staple in my lineups leading up to this season
