NCAA 2024 Sweet 16 pool
This is an interest list only! Please do not send money yet.
Interest list for Sweet 16 pools. $20/$50/$100 entry fees. Championship team holder receives 5x the entry as a prize, runner up receives 3x the entry as a prize.
Once all entrants and teams are determined, lists will be randomized in a way so that all entrants get 2 teams, 1 on each side of the bracket so that both the championship and runner up teams could belong to the same person. 1 entry allowed per person, per level.

Hi everyone - We have 6 entrants in $20 #2, and $50 #2 is full. If you claimed a spot in either of those, please send escrow if you haven't already. I know I can get 2 participants for the $20 if they aren't claimed here, so there is no risk of it not filling.

All Sweet 16 pools are paid in full aside from the 2 spots in the $20 #2 that belong to rickroll, but i have been in contact with him. I can fill the last 2 spots on that pool if needed but will give a few more days for someone here to claim them first.
CC-Sister will take one if he doesn't pony up. Did he pay you for the $50? If not she'll cover one of those as well.

All 5 sweet 16 pools in this thread are full and everyone has escrowed. Thanks for your cooperation!! Now to wait for the Madness to begin, and see how many non-Drake teams advance to the Sweet 16 (hint: at least 15, but not more than 16).
As a reminder, payouts will be 5x the buy-in for the championship team holder, and 3x the buy-in for the runner up. So for the $20 buy-in pools, payouts are 100/60; for the $50 pools, payouts are 250/150; and for the $100 pool, payouts will be 500/300.
Randomization will occur as soon as the final 16 teams are determined. I will need volunteers at that time. I will randomize in the same way I did it last year. I will randomize participant names for all 10 segments (2 for each pool), and send them to a volunteer who will verify once completed. Then I will have teams randomized on each side of the bracket, 5 times, for 5 lists per side of the bracket. I'll match them up in order, first list for $20 pool, 2nd list for $20 #2, 35r list for $50, 4th list for $50 #2, and 5th list for $100. Once all matching is complete, I will post full lists here, and maintain them as teams lose and are eliminated.
As I mentioned in the squares pool thread, I will be busy on weekends and unable to update immediately, but will update Sunday evenings and will process payouts promptly after the championship game.

Looking to randomize tomorrow night. Anyone want to volunteer to hold 5 lists of names after I randomize them and compare to results? Also will need help randomizing the team lists. There will be 10 randomizations needed in total.

Hi everyone! Name lists for the sweet 16 pools have been randomized and sent to marknfw. Now, I need help with the following. Each team list will need to be randomized 5 times. I'll take the first 5 of each list, and anyone can do this aside from marknfw. Please go to random.org, use list randomizer, and generate a random list. I am posting team lists below. The first of each list will be applied to $20 #1, the 2nd to $20 #2, third to $50 #1, 4th to $50 #2, and 5th to the $100 pool.
