Very low 3-bet% among biggest winners at 10-25nl
Anyone noticed this on Smarthand? Many of the big winners on Pokerstars 10-25nl have 3 bet %s at 3-6%. I was under the impression that ideal 3 bet% would be ~9-11% - including plenty of re-steals vs BTN opens with the likes of A7o and KJo and 65s and so on and so forth.
I get that it’s an exploitative thing against a player pool that’s largely passive and unlikely to steal light / fold to 3bets and who you want to play postflop poker against - but still - quite surprising no?

It means that even the winners on Stars microstakes are hella exploitable.
I also think those who were very good, wouldn't stick around for micros for long. The biggest winners are judged by ev bb/100 or absolute $ value? As, if they are marginal winners, but play huge volume, they would could still be the largest $ winners.

No. As you point out they are playing properly against the players they are actually playing against.
Exploit the poole by massively overfolding vs 3bets ( 70% + ) , and by 3betting a TONNE ourselves.
Think of the micro metagame. If regulars are only 3betting value why should we defend wide, we exploit them by overfolding. If people are weak and fold a lot to pressure then we should 3bet a TONNE ourselves. Steal like crazy CO onwards, 3bet a tonne of junk btn vs co, bb vs sb, bb vs btn even.
Approach the games exploitively and individualize each decision based on opponents stats. BB folds 80%, steal with close to any 2. CO opens 40% but folds 80% to 3bet, start 3betting junk like JTo on btn. 99% of these guys won't adjust

Neither; by actual bb/100.
You would be giving up extremely little if you never looked at your yellow line again.
Definitely a surprise. I would expect it to be 10%. It makes sense though given all the nittiness that goes on there though, you wouldn't want a wide range against a nit.
