New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

Wendy’s email just now says $1 single and $2 double offers will refresh every Thursday thru the end of the NCAA tournament. I’d guess that means 3 more refreshes, since the last game is on Monday 4/8.
Got an email from Weinerdog - Saturday is National Corn Dog Day, 4 for $4. couldn't find an image to post.
Is that a lot or a little for the cost? If it is the former, are you a time traveler from 1999?
Not much for the cost, I'd say. Yesterday, I had 2 cro'sanwichs for $4 from BK plus a free large browns (app deal). Today, I had 1 egg/bacon/cheese for $10 (but my drink was free cause I signed up for their rewards program). Would not consider it "value".
Mexican pizza for $3.14 at TB today
That's more than a $2 discount for local prices
Feel like they treated me fair on my 4 for $10 yesterday. Air frying them up for dinner tonight (for the 3 of us).

Whoa, the Blaze Pizza is long! I'm guessing 40% longer than last year.
I have good memories of a Bennigan's here in San Antonio, right off I-10 in the Colonade. They were still hanging on in 2009 but barely. It had been really nice in the early 90s, kinda yuppie place I never felt comfortable in, but once it got seedy I felt more at ease there. The carpet was so nasty, and the once shiny brass all dull as hell. I remember deluding myself thinking a waitress there liked me some lol. Great place to get drunk and overeat, back when I was into that.
Uber eated it tonight
I made it to the front at 7:58pm. Mall closes at 8pm!
They had a sausage breakfast sandwich with vegetables on it which was weird enough I had to try it. With Vietnamese iced coffee and hash brown just under $3.
Unfortunately patty seemed to be chicken and had 0 flavor compared to the us ones.
The better fast food was of course bahn mi with a photo of the not as good as Japan but better than USA food options at 7-11.

Ubereats and Doordash seems like the most dystopian sh*t ever and everything is cold and disgruntledly-delivered. A true loose-loose, if you will.
The fees are so bad to begin with, plus the enhanced menu costs at a lot of places. 150-200% of cost. But also I was at a Wendy's and this dude was picking up like 5 DoorDash orders. He had just come out of a stall in the bathroom from taking a dump, was a big sweaty disheveled mess, and had the gross grubby dirty hands. And the thought of paying that guy 2x cost to handle my food and hope I'm not the 5th one delivered so it's also nice and cold, absolutely not. OUT.
QT's sausage egg n cheese biscuit. Four bucks and change...
Do they allow tips there? Those employees must be miserable if not, but I guess they know what to expect.
What’s the verdict on Wendy’s breakfast burrito? I’m curious if it works with their potatoes and haven’t been around one during breakfast hours.
Not sure if the Canadian version is the same but I enjoyed the wendys breakfast burritos when there was a coupon. Breakfast baconator is a way better offering though but might be worth looking into if you're on a diet.
