As a right-wing leaning pragmatic libertarian who often says things that offend both "political tribes" deeply, I find 2+2 political forum to be very well moderated. Extremists takes both on the left and the right are tolerated in most cases , unless it's blatant racism basically, and what is very heavily moderated against is personal insults.

See, this is why we rarely get to go on field trips. Everybody from politics back on the bus. It's time to go back home before someone gets lost or breaks something. And while it was tempting to try and help get some of ed's money transferred to a fellow mod struggling to get by on a meager mod stipend, that deal is off the table. After feeling all the ❤️ in this thread, I could never walk away voluntarily no matter how much money would go to my fellow mods (who turned out to be surprisingly cutthroat to each other).

I used the word "deluded" when referring to trans people affirming they are woman/man and it was considered a mental health claim ; I am not a native speaker and I checked the dictionary and delusion is a word used often outside of medical contexts but it doesn't matter much now

Tbh if the mod complaining is being taken to ATF from a very black and white rules interpretation that Browser seems to take to his moderation from his background in the moderation of live poker it is working. Nothing complained so far in this thread leads me to any concern he should be replaced and I should know.

So in other words, he is saying that you have to treat people with respect, even if you disagree with them? That is what it sounds like you're saying.
And that's an excellent policy.
The policy you are advocating: that everybody must agree with you or be subjective to verbal abuse by you, is an awful policy.
Much of the internet, including much of this website, is run according to your policy. And that's unfortunate. Treating other people well should be the guiding principle. We're all going to disagree about lots of stuff. No way around that. And nobody has been appointed the grand emperor of wisdom on all things.
