New fast food discussion/review thread

The one made fresh for me “in store” was actually less crispy than the one that arrived via DoorDash.

Has anyone tried the Crispy Panko Fish sandwich from Wendy’s?

I might get it with a daves single or double in the near future for science. Plus McMuffin loves a good surf and turf.

Tried to order a Daveburger a few days ago, but their online ordering was down. :(

I rectified my dearth of value and finally took Wendy up on her generous offer. I did nearly double the price of my double, adding bacon for $1.50; I also slapped down ~$3.50 for a side of queso fries. No regrets. $7.68 post tax is a decent price for this deliciousness.

Where are we seeing these $1/$2 Dave's delights? I scoured the app without success last night (ended up with a pastrami sammich from Miracle Mile for considerably more)(not disappointed in my decision)

But at some point this weekend I think I'd like a Double for $2.

I was sure I hit every spot on the app that might have contained the offer, except, you know, I guess, 'Offers'.

Had a single smashed jack from Jack In Da Crak, no modifications. First bite was decent but the burger is a greasy mess and not that pleasant to eat, 5/10 wouldnt order again.

Np. 😀 I know many fast-food places promos vary greatly just between local franchise owners. Making trying to figure out deals non-trivial.

So am I unless plans go awry.

Probably not but maybe! 😀 I wonder how busy Vegas will be? I was never there during primetime spring break/March Madness. (except I'm there the non-mad days)

eta: A place near me used to serve a Floating Hamburger in sauce that looked similar to that. Seems I was the only person in the area who fully appreciated it as they went out of business.

It's how they do them in Guadalajara. Admit I was skeptical when I first came across that style after having them with my hands from taco trucks for years. Definitely worth mixing it up.

Is that the one that's in Harrah's? Unfortunately, with inflation the $100 Diamond anniversary dinner won't be entirely free any more.

With Good Friday sorta turning next weekend into a 3-day it should be fairly busy, but I doubt it'll be like Thanksgiving or other major holiday. I looked at Bravo today, and it was busy but not crazy.

The Cane's near me had an outside table with some stuff on it, and a bunch of plastic eggs scattered about, as I walked by this morning.

Appeared they were gearing up for an Easter egg hunt/raffle sorta thing. Not sure if it's at just this one, or chain-wide, but might be a fun lunch option for those of you with kids of that age.

I wouldn't waste Cane's tendies on children, they'll do fine with frozen Tyson's nugs. I'd keep a pack in the glove box, I doubt they go bad
