Please note that scammers will use any trick possible to steal your money. Impersonation of reputable users is a common method to scam. If you receive an infraction for not following the rules set out in this post, and also an offer from another user, the offer is highly likely to be from a scammer, whatever the "excuses" given for an attempt to trade outside the strict rules may be.

or
1 poker site= 2 screen names.
For example, if you are trying to trade for your horse, brother, father, roomie, etc., you must state this in your request.
You must include your own SNs AND theirs for the relevant sites. If you don't have a SN on a relevant site, post your SN on your own primary site.

Users wishing to trade with you will either reply to your PM or see your posted offer and PM you. You may post that you are responding to an offer, but you must include all relevant SNs, including your own, or you may receive infraction points.
***WTF rule*** No one should transfer any amount before an acknowledged agreement has been reached. Offenders may be banned without notice.
***BIZ rule*** The thread is to be looked upon only as a convenience to players having funding difficulties. Profiteering or transfer-business posts which state, say, that people have "unlimited" or large amounts to transfer for a set vig will probably be deleted.
You must include your relevant pokernames when you request a transfer or respond to a transfer request. Include them with every post. Posts made without having included your names may be deleted or edited without notice and will receive an infraction, whether or not you have posted them many times before. If you wish to use this thread, you must respect the volunteer mods' wishes, as they do not have time to search your previous posts for your names. Please update this thread and post all details if a trade is not going as planned, or if you have not received in the agreed time frame, ASAP. This only serves to protect the other members of this forum, so that the same guy can not scam multiple players. I understand your excuse for not wanting to go public as he was in contact with you the whole time, but please remember, we are only posting facts in the thread so if a trade is not completed as agreed other members can be made aware and take precautions. - Nofx Fan

I've heard that some of the people that have been scammed recently have simply accepted that they have lost their money, and done nothing more about it, thinking that the pokersites can't help them get their money back, so why bother?
Although, admittedly, there is only a very slim chance that you will get your money back, you should still tell the sites that you have been scammed and ask them to put a note on the scammer's account that you have reported them as being a scammer. Also ask them to consider preventing automatic transfers into the alleged scammer's account from other players, to try to prevent others being scammed in the future. Many of the scammers' accounts are new, and they try to scam as many people as they can in a short period of time, before their account becomes known or is closed.
You should probably provide Support with chat logs, e-mail copies, and screenshots to prove your side of the story.

Owing to a very serious issue with excellent quality "forgeries" of Amazon Gift Cards, we did not allow people to trade these, for some months.
We have now removed the bar, but would still recommend that you keep your financial risk to a minimum.
