Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Jontay Porter actually got away with it the first time, and was dumb enough to do it again.
Is there somewhere with detailed numbers in those Porter bets?
Don’t they have pretty small limits on player props? Must have had thousands of accounts taking his unders all of a sudden. Pretty stupid scame

the biggest victims here were bookies not legals
bookies are less likely to communicate/notice this
you speak to a mover and he has 50 bookie accounts where he can do $500 max bets on each of his stats reb/points/assists and you have a day of $75 profit
they got stupid and greedy by also betting it into legals where it's all consolidated and it's much easier for them to notice trends
on a normal night, there's probably <2k in wagering on a fringe player like porter
it was an incredibly stupid thing for him to do, at best he made a couple hundred thousand if he was connected to the right movers, but even then they take a big cut of it so most likely low 6 figures

I can't imagine many non-legalsl have jontay porter prop bets
that is probably an exclusively DK/FD thing, maybe few other legal books
and given how easy that would be to track, guessing he was working with amateurs (although im not sure how a guy like him could do anything like that at scale given hes a bum and every other night no one is firing his props)

ezlive is a service used by many bookies, it had porter props
when you say the 50 accts x $500 $75 profit thing what do you mean?
that didnt make sense to me
a lot of people are always looking for accounts
I personally am in that boat, if anyone has access to a bookie, please slide into my dms and I'll make it worth your while if you can get me some accounts
there are some people who are really good at acquiring accounts, often via ghosting onto the accounts of others and sometimes getting their own direct accounts
they take those usernames and passwords as well as the geolocation they need to spoof, enter it into their bot network software and then when they have a play ready to go, that bet is mirrored out amongst all their outs
which is why you get warnings like this from bookie websites
some of the people who aggregate accounts like this do it to bet for themselves
others do it simply to act as a mover for others, someone who is limited to $3 a wager by draft kings will use movers when they want to get down large action and the mover takes a cut of profits
even those who bet themselves sometimes move on behalf of others
so if you're a mover with 50 accounts that all have ezlive, that means that at the click of a button, you can bet jontay under on points for $100 5x times, under on rebounds for $100 5x times, and under on assists for $100 5x times on each account for $1500 max win but over 50x accounts makes it a max win of 75k, depending on the agreement, they either split the action & risk or the mover has some sort of freeroll on profits
some movers have access to far more than 50 accounts
this is also how you'd bet these things if you were smart and avoid betting at legals like draft kings entirely - they would have gotten away with it if they only did it that way because some bookie in Houston losing $1500 and some bookie in Boston also losing $1500 on the same play aren't going to be coordinating with each other and in the event some bookies did coordinate - it's not exactly as if they could go to the authorities to report their illegal bookmaking operation may have uncovered an inside job
but for real, if you guys can get me accounts with a bookie or let me takeover/bet into yours please send me a dm

Former Shark Tank host Alex Rodriguez and diaper entrepreneur Marc Lore will no longer be purchasing the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx with someone else's money. The pair had been in the process of buying a controlling stake in the teams from longtime owner Glen Taylor ever since becoming minority owners in 2021, and though it seemed as recently as one week ago that the final step would soon be completed, Taylor put out a statement on Thursday announcing, "The Timberwolves and Lynx are no longer for sale."
lol
Mickey Mouse
Celsuns trying to lose to Atlanta again
Murrrrrrrrray
Boston were 17 point faves lmao
After squandering a 30 point lead a couple games back to this same hawks team.
Boston gonna get bounced in the playoffs at this rate
Boston are the best paper champions ever.
Boston has just got Senioritis. They're fine. They're going to sleepwalk to the Finals since the East is a mess for any team but them, then the Nuggets with butter their biscuits quickly and efficiently so Joker can go see his horses.
boston is going to ship it this year
porzingis the missing ingredient, he's why the knicks haven't gone to the finals since they traded him
NBA season is long and their opponents play them like it’s the playoffs every night. They are definitely sleep walking right now.
