Aiming to reach 100nl.
Goal
I aim to move out of low stakes and reach 100nl by the end of 2024.
Then I'll play a few hundred thousand hands there and think about going pro.
Currently, I'm playing 10nl on stars and will be playing reg tables only.
I will shot take the next stake at 30 buyins and move down at 27 buyins. Bankroll is currently $660.58.
It should be doable if I get good at theory, put in lots of hours, be consistent, do off-table work, and show up at the tables 5-6 days a week.
I will post here once a week to keep track of my progress.

I managed to play for 6 days which I'm happy about, but hours and total hands were not what I was aiming for.
About my game, I think I played mediocre. I made a couple of really bad river folds like these:
For the coming week, I aim to play 8-10k hands and study every hand where I won/lost 10bb+.
I decided to start updating daily. But when I feel like it's too much, I'll go back to updating once a week.
I will also start posting the most interesting/ridiculous hands I can find.

bankroll update
First 25nl session not a success. Next session better I guess.
I think the game quality is as good as 10nl. I still find it easy to keep 4 tables with at least 1 fish.

Hello mate, i heard from good players its normal to not succeed at shot taking few times, wish you better luck next time btw you didn’t lose 3 buy ins yet you could continue

Hey, thanks man.
It's so true. I just need to have patience and the discipline to move down when the shot fails.
But yeah you're right, I don't need to move down yet.
I tried zoom today but quickly realized I prefer regular tables.
Zoom's convenience is awesome, but the higher achievable wr at regular tables makes all the table selection hassle worth it.
So from now on, I'll stick to grinding regular tables only.
Curious about this, why do you think the achievable wr is higher at reg tables over zoom
Also if the wr is slightly higher surely you are playing such a higher no. hands / hour on zoom that it massively out weighs it?
Because we can table select, fish play worse and have a bigger lossrate, and we get to have reads on our opponents faster.
I'm not sure if the higher hands/hr is enough to compensate for the drop in bb/100. And even if it is, lower wr > more swings > detrimental to mental game > low motivation > low volume > worse results.
first 25nl shot = fail 😡
1) prob an overbluff, but can't be too bad since I think people generally overfold rivers
2) tptk in 3bp vs a 58/32 whale, dream spot
time to move back down to 10nl and regrind
I don't understand the shove on the river with AK.
What are we trying to accomplish?
Surely we have enough showdown value to just check down?

I was trying to put pressure and fold out his JJ, TT, and weak pairs.
But yeah, we have sdv to check back. Just decided to fire since I think people overfold rivers.
