Journey to High stakes. 6-max Rush Holdem.
HI! abit about myself first and the game history. My name is Bill and I want to share my journey to high stakes. I started playing poker again after a long break of about 10 years with the new motivation. I used to play sit and go HU and MTT tournaments, they went reallly well at the time, but I didn't have enough time for the game because of work and growing up took too much time. Now the goal is to brush up on cash games and start at the smallest Rush Holdem tables. I write once a month how my journey has gone and what thoughts the game evokes today. I've never used any utilities or solvers or books, I'm more of a street poker player.
Gl man, wish you best of luck.
Here is my first week sample. About 15k hands.
My stats
My Feelings about game after first 15k hands played.
1. The games feel soft because many play really scary, which in itself is strange to play with such small stakes
2. 80% of players play according to the same manual. They plan is only to get money in and fast with top nuts pre-flop and flop.
3. I think that all the solvers what people use nowdays are making the game much easier and there is more free money than ever on the tables.
4. I feel that I can improve and there is still a lot to improve in my game. I'm not going to drastically change my game or fix it yet, but I'm waiting to get about 100k hand history and then I'll make changes to the game.
3. I think that all the solvers what people use nowdays are making the game much easier and there is more free money than ever on the tables.
This is funny because you play NL2 and think players are using solvers and you somehow are a mastermind because you can beat them lol. I mean it's the smallest stakes possible. What were you expecting?
Thank you for your answer! I have not expected anything or there have been no expectations. I just started playing and I want to level up.

I will play 100k hands first at this level and then jump to NL5 where I will also play 100k hands before moving up.
hi, it's been a long time since my last post, when I started playing poker again. I've been traveling and enjoying good weather in the last few months, which is why I've played less poker. However, here are the results of about 100k last played hands 4 tables rush%cash.
now I'm playing tournaments for a while for a change, but after the summer I plan to grind cash tables at bigger levels.
you can download your hands btw and upload them to pokertracker or holdem manager, so you can see actual winnings with the rake
Yes
i had the free version of polertracker4 but it expired. I didn't see much use for it since Hud is not allowed on the site I play on. Anyway, I was thinking of leveling up without any utilities or solvers. right now I'm really happy with the progress and I think I'm maybe one of the best or even the best player in these games.
I'm back from vacation now and have more time to play. i spent almost the whole summer without playing except for a few sessions of tournaments and cashes. I studied gaming just by playing a lot, but now that I'm moving to bigger games, I thought I'd change my study methods and reduce the amount of gaming and study in different ways. I play in the Maniac/lag style, but I can't seem to find any content that goes through the Maniac/Lag gameplay in more depth.
A little post after a long break. I went from Nl2 to NL5. The games have been going well and I don't really notice the difference between the two levels. maybe the so-called free money will fly less.
I couldn't find decent teaching material for my needs, so I stuck to my original plan and developed my own hand ranges and game tactics by playing.
My normal day at the office

Hello mate and gl with your journey, btw GG graphs don’t show rake and generally rake is GG’s most problematic part of beating the games
I”ll be honest with you, posting these graphs doesn’t mean anything, its more like misleading, when i first started my thread i was posting like that too but as soon as i realized i bought PT4 and that was most valuable purchase ive ever made

+20bb/100 so rake IS paid Buddy.
Also Get leaderboard points And rakeback And ggcheers so rake IS not a problem crusher like me.
(Profit in BB/Number of Hands) * 100. Win Rate = (Winning Amount / Total Hands) * 100.
Result 20,80713387447125 BB/100
-Rake is about 30% of the result, but since I get rewards and refunds, I get the same amount back as I pay in rake
last three days games. I didn't play well and also suffered a 10bi downswing. However, a very basic result, neither bad or good.
First of all gl in your grind!
You would be suprised of how diffrent your real win-rate is compared to what GGpoker displays (YES, with all the RB & Bonuses). So I would also recomend getting H2N4 (its free and very good).
First I want to say that it is more important for me to know how much I win bb/100, because I think it is a good measure of how well I have played. I've also probably played closer to 1000,000 hands, so I'm very aware of how much gg takes in taxes. as I already stated earlier "I get Leaderboard rewards, rakeback and ggcheers" which compensate the taxes ipaid

I calculated how much gg takes rake. result is close10bb/100 hands.
Its huge amount but i still think that all the leaderboard prices etc make up for the loss.
How this system works in GG favors players who play a lot.
I also download H2N4 and its very good as you said. Need to get more into H2N4... Ty 4 Tip Man!
