if the arteta out crowd had gotten their way then saka & co would still be really good at football and arsenal would be challenging for the title

Goalkeeper clown show at Turf Moor

I dunno, awful performance today, several of them recently, but we are still playing better than we were last year after losing our best ever player. Don't think too many rational people thought we would actually challenge for the league this year, most people said "a run at top 4 would be real progress" and that's where we are, shrug.

Imagine if the Arteta out crowd had gotten there way in 2021. Loads of dickhead Spurs fans were mocking him for the "trust the process" stuff. Doesn't feel dissimi

Kane isn't Spurs "best ever player". Football did exist before the Premier League.

I'm not seeing a "process" with Angeball, just some mad tactics that worked well when they took teams by surprise but not so much lately, though I don't pay too much attention. Newcastle won by using their speedy players to break open the high line while only having 27% possession, not a tactic that was hard to see working.

The troublemakers might not have been rooted out, the additions wouldn't have been made (and most have worked out very well), and the strict sense of purpose and discipline have been invaluable.

I mean, he's at the very least in the conversation. Hoddle, Kane, Mackay, maybe Blanchflower and maybe Greaves. Greaves a more prolific goalscorer but way less well-rounded.

So yeah - it's not even close to a stretch to claim he's our best ever player.

****ing LOL at this. You post more about Spurs than you do about Arsenal.

bournemouth afc are a clear fave against man utd later today

think about that

Look like it too so far. Just better.

One of the good signs for arteta was he got player buy in and had a clear way he wanted to play. When you can get players to buy in and show you can have them play the style you want it bodes well for when you get the ideal players for the style you want.

I see a similar thing happening with spurs and ange getting them to play his distinct style. While it's not been great at times and they have some clear defensive issues I think they are in a better place than I would of expected prior to the season.

They still have some squad work to do, but making the CL would put them in a very good spot. They need to really take advantage of united and Chelsea being **** because this is a golden opportunity for them to be favorites going forward for t5. Biggest thing to sort out is how they move on past son when he declines. With psr it's actually going to be a decent market for buyers who have psr wiggle room since lots of teams will need to sell to balance accts.

The Mancs ship so many chances.

Boo united boo

The Mancs ship so many chances.

It's honestly wild city or Liverpool didn't find a way to put 10 past them. Would love to see arsenal be the ones to absolutely blast them at old Trafford.

this goalie does weird stuff

wrt being very good at football, Gascoigne was clearly their best ever player, and by a mile, but he doesn't even make your list.

lol that's true. But don't take it to mean that I ever watch them unless they're already a couple of goals down. Today was a fun exception.

Is ETH just mailing it in at this point?

Why did Bristol City have to get a 100th minute equaliser, this weekend's Champ games were peak comedy up to that point

United continue to be the luckiest team in the history of sports.

Gazza and Bale are battling for a podium finish

var is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad

I did laugh today when sections of our support were chanting **** VAR right as VAR was correctly chalking off their second

Just bin var these morons have no clue what they are doing

They all are. Rashford never seemed to break a sweat in the match. He should’ve been yanked at half time and yet it was Garnacho who was taken off. That’s 2 hours of my life I’m not getting back.

Saw none of the game but getting strong "Utd thankful for the point" vibes.

standard

xg: bournemouth 1.68 ~ 1.08 manchester utd

Utd too big to fail, also too big to tear down and start again.
