Sucked Out River Dealing Twice With Draw-Chasing Maniac, How Can I Adjust? Thank you

Sucked Out River Dealing Twice With Draw-Chasing Maniac, How Can I Adjust? Thank you

Hi, I've been stalking on this forum for a while, this is my first topic.

The hand is here: https://www.pokernow.club/hand-replayer/...

Summary: My stack (1220), Villain (3030). Cash game

- I have AA in UTG+2, small blind 2, big blind 4, straddle 8, I raise to 24 (3x straddle), called around. Pot is 129

- Flop comes K J 7 with two clubs, villain bet 75% pot, I re-raise to 110% pot, only him called with me in position. Pot is 600

- Turn comes Q, I know this villain is draw-chasing maniac with middle range garbage hands like Ten Seven, Ten Threy, Ten Deuces - he win several hands before this with such hands, so I went all in for 960 effective (150% pot) to basically make it so expensive for him to chase the draw. However, he called with T3 of clubs for combo open-ended straight & flush draw, while I blocked 2 Aces on the top and one Ace of club, so he has around 14 outs. Pot is now 2516.

- River dealt twice, with 2 clubs and 9 of hearts, I lost twice to a flush and a straight, huge buy-in. Which is 25%-30% odds of him winning twice in a row -> 8%-9% odds against me, I'm still sad from yesterday to now (!)

So here are my questions

1> I have UTG+2 position preflop behind a straddle and one UTG+1, should I raise bigger like 12x BB to chase away these garbage hands or I have to cope with it and raise normal to induce a 3bet?

2> Is my bet sizing wrong on the flop & turn? Should I just bet normal sizing like 50% pot on the flop and 67% on the turn for pot-control and give up if river hits his range? Do I overplayed my pocket AA too much because with this hand in cash game it seems I only win small pot and lose big pot like this one?

3> One problem with this hand is that I intend to play just 1-2 hours because I have a date with my wife, that's why I cannot rebuy and stack this garbage maniac. Do I do everything right but just unlucky because the deck stack 8%-9% odds against me, so I should reload and punish him next time?

Thank you very much for any pros out there who can help me with this hand & suck out river maniac in general (*)

If you want serious feedback, don't expect to get it in BBV. You may want to post your hand in Online No-Limit Hold'em Cash (but remember to leave out the results).

Preflop I'd go 4-5X the biggest blind or straddle. So (32-40) Even bigger in some action games which it sounds like you probably are in. You don't really want to see 5 way flops.

Since he's a maniac you played it fine. Against a tighter player I think i call the flop and fold turn on the Q if he makes any sizeable bet.

Yeah actually he 3bet me with Ace-Ten previously so I can exclude that pretty quick, and he checked OOP so I think I still lead. But overally I should have open larger preflop then pot-control and see what the river does after watching Jonathan Little clips on mistakes playing AA.

Thank you very much sir
