[CoinPoker] - Ex-Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players
Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)
CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players
Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.
Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.
The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets
All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.
CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.
Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.
Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)
Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.
Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.
Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile
Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.
This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.
Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions
Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.
Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch
After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

What's the shield with a cross or tick next to player names?

The green tick shows that the player is participating in our RNG shuffle mechanism.
The inputs from all the players from this field are used in conjunction with other RNG processes to further increase randomness to arrive at the decks final shuffle state.

Yet if u read the literature about the RNG here it says because u enter a phrase and participate in the shuffle it won't actually change anything about the deal. Correct me if I am wrong but it sounds like marketing

The role player input has in determining the shuffle is outlined in Step 2 here:

But you're saying by a player inputting a phrase into the shuffle it makes it even more random. So if no players input it into the shuffle it would be less random?
JoohnD final tables the main event and is close to final tabling the 5k buy in nemesis
They won't. Win rates are too high at heads up poker. It's all about profit for the sites. This is why most sites did away with hu games......winner win too fast, loses lose too fast, bad for poker economy. At higher stakes it's fine because those guys have plenty of money, it does not effect the games much.
We have opened some lower stakes HU games.
I´ve been banned from Coinpoker (not even played one hand) having made a new account, it says contact support, I guess it´s related to my firewall or DNS blocker because I don´t see why else, I contacted support but received no email back not even a reception email. I´ve deposited 650$ and swapped some to CHP, what should I expect from now ?
(I don´t use VPN and I don´t log from a prohibited country.)

this make a bad first experience.
i guess it all was just cuz i am noob at cryptos.
i am in contact with the support and by the way they have a awsome support.
This site is my ****. This is the site I am wanting a daily $10 to $25 stake for ... the MTTs (more like SNGs,) are so crushable.
And this is why I'm no longer a winner at high stakes. I learned how to get good playing HU cash.
Went from $2-$5NL to $800NL (and bankrolled for it,) in a few months.
Then I did something really stupid and played 10K NL HU with a 70K roll. I went up 20K in the beginning and kept playing. I got it in REALLY good with a full house against 3 of a kind and he binked a 30K 300BB hand.
Why does lobby keep going black after i open a table?
Is there an overview of BB/100 rake for NL and PLO cashgamers for small and midstakes?
Also question regarding rakeback: is it enough to have and keep 1 CHP to reveice RB?
Yeah Ive seen that graphic but it makes no sense. Let's say I pay 10$ rake for my session and I have $10 worth of CHP in my account.
It then converts 5$ into CHP that is then deducted from my balance. On Monday I get back 5$ in USDT. But I bought the 5$ CHP earlier with my own money. So I'm just getting back money I paid for CHP in USDT, not an actual rakeback.
I'm sure I have an error somewhere but that is what this dumb graphic is basically saying.

We made it easier to qualify for Rakeback, prior to this you needed 100% of CHP in your account, you only need a 50% CHP to still get full Rakeback
If you pay $10 in rake and you have CHP to pay for the rake we give you $3.33 CHP (33% rakeback).
1) Leave table with at least 50% of rake paid in CHP, in this example $5
2) $5 equivalent of CHP is debited from account - current amount - (5/.076) = 65.79 CHP
3) $5 USDT is returned to your CoinPoker Account
4) 33% of total rake paid in USDT is returned in CHP ( ($10 x 0.33) /.076 ) = 43.42 CHP returned
So you are deducted 65.79 in CHP rake and receive 43.42 CHP rakeback
OK I tested pretty much exactly this last week.
I had 233 CHP in my account and played a session where I paid 10$ in rake.
At the end of my session I had 171 CHP in my account.
On Monday my CHP balance was rewarded with CHP and my CHP balance was 212 but my $ balance remained unchanged.
So does the whole rakeback system not work in the "traditional way" where $ are credited but the rake I pay is reduced via the CHP balance?
If so, maybe you should call it a "reduced rake" system, not a "rakeback system".
Can you please host at least 2 PLO hu tables per stake. Right now having only one table makes it a bit of a no rat hole.
Is anyone able to import the hand histories they email you into Hand2Note4, I just get that 0 hands have been imported.
