Last minute Solo TR 4/27 - 5/1
Have been enjoying all the TRs recently and I wanted to try a semi-live TR again. I tried TRs in each of my last 3 annua
great to have some run good in Vegas
Macy Gray-her mannerisms weren’t as spazzy as I remember them years ago. But she was pretty quiet and no one bothered her.
Most likely because you are the only person in the entire poker room who recognized who she is. A lot of players there wouldn’t know who she is even if you told them her name.
Was up almost $500, but then started playing way too loose and practically raising every hand. That predictably led to me donating money back. Ended up leaving up $333.
Conservatory pics-seems to be an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Nice report. Kill em at the tables. Very enjoyable but I can't subscribe because of your 100% incompletion rate. Do better by us this trip and you will be batting .250.
One of my favorites - Hattie Bs

Hattie Bs did not disappoint! But needing to walk off that meal, I made my way over to Horseshoe for some 1/3.

Hahahaha-that is a fair punishment. I own those failed TRs and am doing best to finish this one!
Haven’t been able to get anything going at all at Horseshoe and am just bleeding down. Table is also one of those quiet ones and combined with a slow dealer and my food coma, I’m falling asleep at the table.
Going to take a lap to try and wake up, else I may check out how the games are at MGM.

Table change!
I finally had enough of beating my head against the wall and left down $72.
Going to try the monorail for the 1st time to head to MGM.
Bought a 24-hour pass for the monorail with plans to take it up to Sahara tomorrow.
Walking past the MGM room and decided that I can sleep after I get home-haha.

Not going good unfortunately. But if bad luck, but mostly bad play. Lost $200 on one of those double board bomb pots where I had a nut flush and gutshot draw on one board and top pair on the 2nd board.
Not winning that one kinda tilted me and I was also getting annoyed at this dealer who was making comments, giggling nonstop, and making mistakes. Not sure if I’m more annoyed by her or by my bad play.
Just topped up another $300 and am giving myself a couple orbits to play better or call it a night.
I’m a fan of the monorail, you can’t lose any money while you’re on it 😀
Only a matter of time before they stick video poker machines on there.
You get a good view of the sphere and the Wynn golf course.
When I stay at Sahara, I’ll take it down to mgm and casino hop back north. Get back on at the Harrahs Linq stop and head back to Sahara.
From Sahara, it’s an easy walk to The Strat, Fontainebleau or Resort Worlds.
Quick end of night recap as I’m on my way to check out Fountainbleau.
Ended up losing $532 at MGM, which was primarily due to the worst that I’ve played on the trip so far. Was not getting hands, then forced the action by playing too loose pre-flop, then was too passive post-flop. All around horrible play that I’m surely led to disappointing faces around the table when I got up.
I decided to try my changing my fortune by finally playing my 1st craps session at Excalibur.

But sadly couldn’t get much going there either and left after a few shooters and myself, down $51.
As I was heading out the door to walk over to the monorail, I came to realize that in my gaze yesterday I typed in gmzil instead of gmail for the electronic ticket/24 hour pass. Haha-just a comedy of stupidity to cap off a frustrating night.
Am in a Lyft now to Fountainbleau and am going to try and be extra focused today. Planning to play at Wynn and Venetian this afternoon.
Fountainbleau is a really nice property and casino. Not a great outside surrounding area, but very nice casino inside.

The craps table was full , so I thought I’d try to channel my inner Muck or Leon. Didn’t hit anything above trips and lost the $100 pretty quick.
Did make a reservation for dinner at Mother Wolf tonight. Looking forward to a nice meal!
Heading over to Encore for some poker now.

For sure-was glad that I rode it. Only downside was how far back it’s tucked in at the casinos. But after how much sitting I’m doing at the poker tables, I definitely needed the exercise!
Yea the platforms are a bit of a hike, but that means you get to enjoy more tasty treats.
I forget to dial in ahead and put my name on the list at Wynn, so just waiting for a seat to open up.
Apparently they’re filming a movie in the casino and had some areas covered and guarded. Any locals know what movie it is?
Today is a new day-let’s go!

Hope this is the accelerant for run good

Enjoying the TR. 👍
Good luck today

Would love some thoughts on this hand:
Im in the hi-jack with ~$675. Villain is in middle position ($500) and this is his first hand. Villain raises to $12, I have 9-10 suited and call. Button (tilting recently abd with ~$250 left), raised to $35. SB, Villain and I all call. Flop is 10-9-4. Villain checks and rather than lead out, I check hoping to induce the tilting guy to bet, but it checks through. Turn is a 2 (no flush possibilities and Villain leads for $60. I thought for a few seconds and called, again thinking that the button would do something crazy with his last $200. I also decided against raising bc I thought the best hands the Villain had were QJ, A10 or A9. Button folded and we saw a J on the river. Villain checked, I bet $75 and lost. What did the Villain have?
