You're allowed to have your arm out like that on post defense though. I can legit see them calling that "marginal contact". Low post players play through that all the time. If that was someone just driving, it's different for sure.
They rarely overturn those kinds of calls though, but AD had all ball from the beginning, and stayed on ball. I thought for sure all the Jokic flailing though would cause the challenge to fail.

Lakers need to reverse engineer all the bad decisions and who was involved over the last few years. I was always suspect that once Kobe died, Pelinka didn't have the sounding board he needed to find the correct pieces that would fit together. Because once Kobe was gone, 90% of the decisions after the 2020 championship were extremely bad.

lol... couple of things
1) According to many reports over the years, Rob is always asking for players opinions about personnel so much so that some of them get annoyed, as most other GM's don't do that to this level. Per what I've read.
2) The 2020 roster construction was... perfect. That's why the Lakers dominated.
3) Kobe dies just before the bubble, the next year the things that made the team so good are dismantled... mainly their size, perimeter and wing defense. As if the person running the team doesn't understand what made them good.
4) WB is traded to the Lakers for key pieces most franchises would covet and future picks.

Lakers outscored Denver in the paint in the series, yet we have:
Lakers 67 FTA, Denver 79 FTA.

Meh the Lakers. They lose the aggregate score in the series by 11 points and lose the series 4-1. The last game score was also the average score of the series: 108-106. Weird. Also the score of Bill Russell's final game, 1969 NBA Finals Game 7 ... 108-106 over the Lakers. That was a strange game to watch, you can still watch 4th quarter or waning moments on youtube. The teams like didn't know much about how to manage game 7 close situation. Very weird to see.
