Edwards had that 38 min 3 - 12 game against the Suns just a couple of weeks ago, so it remains to be seen whether he just stays at this level rest of the playoffs. But he’s clearly the first star since Jordan that has a chance to be universally beloved. He’s got bags of personality, no off court baggage, hugely competitive and it’s all that mid range work casuals wet themselves over.

Always cool to witness the start of something epic in sports.

I would say Steph Curry belongs in that category.

Steph was not universally beloved like Jordan, only a single Finals MVP, etc

I love Steph, changed the game and a hugely significant player.
