ClubGG bots

ClubGG bots

Having played on ClubGG on a couple of the bigger unions/clubs for the past month, I believe that there is a definite botting problem. The bots typically play a lot of hands, never emote, and generally play fairly aggro.

I honestly believe that the owners are running these bots to create action for their games. I am moreso asking if anyone knows if this is true or has any tips for dealing with them. Also if anyone plays 200-1k on the massiv union or splash squad, please reach out to me would love to hear from someone else on the site about the ecosystem.

I don't understand why people complain about bots. Bots are not made to beat decent to good players. They are made to beat recreational players. If you are losing to them you probably need to work on your game. I would be worried about players using rta and collusion then bots. If you can't beat a bot I would recommend coaching to find what leaks you have in your game. Bots are not on a level of an ai like Libratus.

Splash seemed a very good place to play PLO. Massiv Union has big issues on that regard, yes. There are smaller unions that do require light KYC and games are much safer.

Bots don't take -EV lines. Bots don't tilt. Bots desincentivize recreationals to keep playing. Etc etc

Where did I complain about it? I just want to know the extent of the problem so I can better beat them. I actually don't even think the CGG bots are meant to make money, but to break even or donate a little rakeback

Yeah this is true, in PLO botting is a bigger problem as blockers are more important and there can be more information shared between bots. I try to avoid PLO on ClubGG.
