Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Tatum is better than Brown, much better passer/facilitator. Brown lack of playmaking would get exposed some on a team he had to be the #1 option or just wasn't as loaded as Celts.
Tatum is a better help defender than Brown as well, even if Brown is better on-ball.
Most defenses putting their attention towards Tatum as well compared to Brown, makes Brown look better sometimes.
Brown also can’t dribble. But Tatum is not much better in that regard
Many seem not agreeing Gobert winning dpoy .
Isn’t normal the best defender on the best defending team in the league gets the award vs someone with similar stats in block and rebound except that other players team finish like 22-24th defensively in the league ?
The Celtics have already won the title. It’s literally over and anyone who doesn’t think so is watching a different sport. This is a laughably easy route to a title for Boston this season.

I was going to predict Celtics will be in the final leading 2-1 or 3-2 and choke it out .
I just don’t trust their mentality…
But at least this time they have enough backup to take over Tatum and Jaylen when they will crumble .
They might win but their back up get hurts often too .
I won’t bet on them that’s for sure …

Yes, doesn't make it right ldo.
For the reason you gave, Marc Gasol got DPOY and wasn't even first team defense (both Noah and Chandler were ahead of him).

Yes sure , messing up earlier years shouldn’t be continuing the trend .
I guess dpoy and mvp have similar connotations in valuing team success in the equation?
gobert still probably the best defensive player, but the main issue there seems to be that ~everyone hates him. obv the writing is on the wall with wemby being right behind him as a rookie, sky is the limit. no one would be surprised if he lapped him next season after even a little improvement (and to the spurs roster)
Team success plays into a narrative but narratives can include other things.
Like Embiid winning last year or even moreso when Russ got it after KD bounced.
People also don't tire of putting a guy down on All NBA the way they do someone for MVP (Barkley, Malone>MJ, DRose>Bron).
Haliburton u29.5 PRA, what do you guys think?
Good to take?

I gotta think hes gonna be more aggressive. Ill stay away I think.
Joker looking like a guy who's down 0-2, knows he's won 3 (deserved) times, and is just done with it on this interview
Joker cares more about his horses than winning a 3rd MVP.
I gotta imagine he may even retire earlier than expected.
Sure, but they’re still far better than every team left in the playoffs. They’re not even going to play a close series unless they massively choke. Should probably be a bunch of 4-0 or 4-1 series to the title.
The east is laughable, Denver and Dallas ain’t got it, OKC and MN are a year or two early. We’ve all seen this story before. The young superstar never wins it all in their first deep playoff run.

you can get celtics to title at evens... go get that free money
If the Celts don't get out of the East, it would be at or near the worst collapse of all time. BOS v. MIN or BOS v. OKC seems like it could go 6 or even 7 if some shots fall the right way.

I'd have to see how it unfolded, but I actually don't think it would even be worse than losing to Miami last year
people forget Miami 3rd best player was Caleb Martin, 4th was Gabe Vincent in that series
I guess since knicks are the knicks and miami had been ECF/finals in previous 2/3 years it didn't quite look like that though
Brunson's "head jerk" thing is annoying. Refs don't actually fall for it much, but it's like a nervous tick at this point.
Pacers gonna just wave the white flag already?
Knicks shooting 76/50/50 in the 1st and have a 0 point lead. That's...odd
