How does this jury voting work?

IIRC these votes are jury votes and make up one half of the result. The other half are call-in votes; that comes later.

And each country picks a jury somehow. In other words it is rigged.

Considering Norway hasn't gotten a single point from them yet, it clearly doesn't work.

Edit: 6 points from Albania, but point still stands imo.

Most fascinating thing about this is how big the delay is to all the juries they're talking to.

I mean - we can all talk to people across the world with barely any delay, but somehow the biggest music competiton in the world still has to deal with 5-10 seconds delay when talking to someone in a country right nearby?

Yea, don't know how they think the current voting system is better.

Calling in to each country just to give the 12 jury-points and then have the presenters just rapidly rattle off the "peoples vote" is just a really bad way of doing this.
