Yikes, although Pokerfuse has been saying for years that BetMGM was going to launch in Nevada for years. Looks like unless it comes directly from WSOP.com, can't really put any weight behind it. Kevin Mathers is fantastic tho!

It's smart for WSOP to not send emails about the merger until they're more certain about the date.
I noticed they took down all the welcome packages and promotions around noon LOL!

Lmao, wut. So basically there's no reason it should happen anytime soon.
That is just a minor approval since they already operate online poker in those states and the new software has been operational for 2+ years already and MI has already 2 years ago been approved for the multi state compact. MI probably just needs to sign a quick approval form, no big deal.
It is possible that NV and NJ might need to briefly look at the software and run some tests or whatever, but all this was known, so that can't be the hold up, unless WSOP is worse than I thought.

Nothing new. I see they added another MTT to the 14th that wasn't there yesterday and the latest one is going out to the 19th. I would have to imagine that means the earliest it could be would be on the 20th.
Are NJ/NV just not going to have a circuit event this month?
I logged in and checked my Caesars Rewards status this morning and it has been restored to platinum. I had spent almost 3 weeks working with WSOP to get them to report my tier credits to Caesars since the card got unlinked a few hundred points before reaching platinum in May of last year.
Although I'm happy they fixed it and I'll be able to park at WSOP this year, it would have been nice if they had sent an email letting me know the issue was fixed. They still haven't responded at all. I was just getting ready to call them and light their ass up again but thankfully decided to check my status before calling.
I don’t think anyone still really has a good timeframe on the update. I was 90/10, now I’m more 75/25 this gets done by the end of May from reading some articles. It’s a lot of a guessing game out there!

FYI, they added next Sundays guarantees to the schedule on NV/NJ. We might be getting taken for a ride here. This might turn into after the series in July or TBD. Becoming more skeptical.
Maybe they are working on a big update to the poker 8 software to make that much better and that will be done any day now and then they will merge, etc.

Personally, I don’t think this gets done before the 28th. Pretty silent recently from some of the poker outlets on the story. Fingers crossed because I’m not sure I can play another summer on this software. I will be playing a few live events this summer “ hopefully “ and I wont be in any rush to run back to online if we’re going to be stuck another year with this outdated software. Personal feelings
