[MICRO] 5NL R&C, Bet river or not?
Hey, wanted to get some opinions on this hand. Unknown stats on the Villain.
Flop: Range bet is fine here right? Low rainbow board like this should still be fine even vs BB range.
Turn: Think the bet sizing is good here, obviously call that small XR with the J on the turn.
River: This is where I was a bit confused and think I might have misplayed. I river a two pair, but also the FD gets there on the river and potential straight if V has a 3. And I had a suspicion on the river that he might be trapping me with that X after he XR me on the turn so I just X back. No spade blockers as well.
Should I have bet on the that river and if so, how much?

The flop is not remotely close to a range bet in theory. You can still obv bet if you want to.
Otherwise it's fine. You can overbet the turn if you want to.

Sorry might be a dumb question, but bear with me as I am still relatively new.
What would constitute a spot to be close to a range bet in theory then? Doesn't range betting essentially mean "Okay I will simplify my strategy here to bet 1/4 - 1/3 pot since I retain a range advantage on this flop as a BTN raiser and I often get to deny equity of the Villain and push my EV advantage" (Learnings I took away from Clarke's course)
I wouldn't range bet on middling boards and wet boards, which I at least don't think 542r is considered or am I wrong in this?
And especially in the micros and low limits from the info I've collected it seems quite exploitable still as people don't seem to defend quite enough and tend to overfold vs these sort of 33% bets.

AKK is an example of a range bet board for the pfr.

Flop should not be bet very often because BBs range connects with this board relatively well. For this reason, BB should be leading this flop at some frequency and if we assume they aren't doing this, we should xb fairly often.
As played, turn x/r are usually the nuts so folding turn.

Range bets only occur when we have a significant range advantage. Boats like ace ace king for an example. We can simplify some boards that are betting almost range to range bet with only a small EV loss.
However this board it probably only going to be bet about 25-40% of the time (just guessing CBA to check) but also Oop is meant to play donks in theory which they are probably not finding, so this makes a check back with our range at an even higher frequency than whatever it would be in the solve.
If we just bet we will be just giving up too much ev with our simplification; learn to play check back nodes if you want to move up; you can't just cbet range everyboard
