Don't think it is that random at this point, seems to have more trouble creating his own shot vs playoff level D and also it is challenging to pick spots when there is a guy on his team way better than him at being the main usage guy.
Doesn't help Dallas has pretty bad spacing, especially when Washington is in foul trouble.

And so in a mad scramble with a player on the floor in the last minute, Jason Kidd picks him up helping him get back on D. How is that not a flagrant T? Why not just go out on the floor and guard somebody or set a pick or something?

Shai had the great contest he should have never hacked down at him. Great try but make him make the contested 3, don't hack. Super game, both teams heroic. One of the best games I've ever seen. OKC held off half a dozen rallies then lost by 1 on a last second foul.
