Ridley Scott has some great ones but this is not one of them. However I am generally not a fan of period pieces of this kind so I always figured I was hating. And I'm not a big Crowe fan, but this was a big reason.
Paul Giamatti also gave a great peformance as James J Braddock’s manager.

Refs jobbed Pacers again. But they deserved to lose with the way they closed that game. Just absolute garbage. Only saving grace is I think they are too young and dumb for the moment to feel overwhelmed as shown vs NY and might be able to fight back in game 2

Do you remember anything besides Phoenix and the spectacle scenes?
I sure as **** don't despite watching it probably 4 times. 1st when it came out. 2nd years later. 3rd I realized it sucked and 4th confirmed it.
I'm also quitting a Sopranos rewatch now near the end of s3. The Wire is definitely better and so is Deadwood.
Breaking Bad maybe there's a conversation for.

Gladiator was solid. The Denver debacle was not. As was the Pacers catastrophic last few seconds. And many underrated shows much better than The Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Enuff said 😉

i will say wolves over mavs would create a lot more appealing finals to me.....celts supporting cast just seems way better than mavs supporting cast. Jrue, White, KP vs Gafford/Lively, Washington, DJJ...ouch
