$25----->25k Bankroll Challenge on Ignition

$25----->25k Bankroll Challenge on Ignition

I am going to be starting with $25 in my Ignition Account and try to spin it up to $25,000.

I will start at 5nl since it is the lowest stake on the site and be playing Ignition Reg tables only.

I will be updating every 5k hands with my progress.

My expectation for each limit is as follows:

Expected Winrates for each limit:

5NL: 30bb/100

10NL: 25bb/100

25NL: 20bb/100

50NL: 15bb/100

100NL: 12bb/100

200NL: 10bb/100

Variance will be a decent factor in a lot of these winrates but these are just ball park numbers. Once I hit 25k I will take a 10buyin shot at 500nl! As far as moving up I'll move up whenever I feel like it, but probably after winning 30-40 buyins at the limit.

There will be no cherry picking here since you can't cherry pick a Bankroll Challenge. Wish me luck (or not) and follow along in this thread.

Sorry, but I feel responsible to detect your massive poker mistakes and tell it to the people.
With your boastful manner, beginners might still believe the bullshit you say- and and I want to prevent that

Post your graph

Exhibit B. I jammed on the fish to my left twice in one orbit, it looks like the fish to my right was paying attention and decided to make a stand.

Woops.

5 reasons why you should invest in Dogecoin right now.

1. Elon Musk.

The man worth nearly 200 Billion (yes with a B) dollars has publicly backed this cryptocurrency as his favorite.

2. X payments (formerly twitter) has been approved for many states already.

**This has been updated to 26 states in the USA**

3. Market patterns. Every time Bitcoin halves ----->6-18 months later the market explodes. This has happened twice before in 2016 and 2020.

4. Upcoming US Election. Whenever there is a non-lame duck President and the incumbent is trying to get re-elected the market is generally favorable to entice voters to vote for the current sitting President. There is an election in the Fall of 2024.

5. Asymmetrical Opportunity----->If you have a low net worth (under 1 million dollars imo) you should be investing in higher volatility assets. Fortune 500 company market caps are too high to even double your investment so we want to look for low market cap investment vehicles (Dogecoin is sitting at 16.8 cents and only has a 24 Billion Dollar market cap) for high risk/reward scenarios.

Current evaluation on 5/21/2024.

This is designed for entertainment purposes only. Not financial advice. I will come back in 6 months and quote this thread.

I get that jamming ATo without the As will be higher EV in comparison to jamming ATo with the As, but calling is still higher EV whether or not we have the As.

So what would be the purpose of jamming ATo?

Spoiler
Show

Also any idea why with AQo, it's higher EV to jam AQo with the As than it is to jam without?

Spoiler

But with A9o it's higher EV to jam combos without the As

Spoiler

Guessing it's probably one of those tiny things that probably doesn't affect our WRs much in the long run.

Those EV's aren't right if they are saying they are different EV's. GTO Wizard didn't run the sim long enough because if it's mixed it's the same EV.

We can see if jamming or calling is higher EV. I don't have the exact sizing structure but we can make some decent estimates.

FCT is the important data point. It's 35 weak and the aggregate is only 32 weak so that means Flush Complete Turn is overbluffed here (pretty surprising imo).

We need to look at Folding Frequencies here. I'm not jamming as an exploit because I want to manipulate Alpha. 67% Folding frequencies over 212 hands.

You can run the numbers to figure out if this is profitable.

SBvsBB 6bb OTF

B30 = 2bb

10bb OTT

We need to guess on turn sizing's but let's 60% OTT

6bb 6bb

22bb OTR. BB bets 11bb.

So we have 89bbs effective. Let's say we raise 4x.

We are risking 44bb/(44bb + 33bb) = ~57% and Alpha is 67% so it's clearly profitable but it's a small sample size.

Then you need to compare the EV of calling vs the EV of raising.

Calling a bluff catcher formula. EV = Edge(Risk + Reward) = Edge(Call + Bet + Pot)

35 weak at B50 and GTO is 50/200 or 25 weak. 10% overlay

10%(11 + 11 + 22) = 10%*44 = 4.4BB winning call

EV of Bluff Raising

EV of Bluff Raising formula. EV = Edge(Risk + Reward) = Edge(Raise + Bet + Pot)

If we raise 4x there is a 10% discrepancy between Alpha and Population.

10%(44 + 11 + 22) =10%*77 = 7.7bb winning call

These are just rough estimates but if I am choosing between calling and raising it's higher EV to raise even if it is mixed in a solver.

#1 what's your river plan if villain calls?

#2 any reads on villain? stack size suggests that he is a fish, who won't let go any Jx. however, my best guess is that you need folds from Jx to make this profitable. your blockers are not exactly favorable either imo.

1. Hit my hand or x/f

2. That doesn't matter. We know xr-b-b is overbluffed and overfolded in the aggregate and the runout is neutral so we can do it with ATC.

I touched upon this concept earlier ITT but I wanted to hammer it home with 3 examples. 3BP concept from a theoretical point of view.

Spot #1

CO open 2.5x---->We are BTN and 3bet to 7.5x------>CO calls.

Flop comes K62r ----->we cbet range 1/3 CO calls. Turn is 9o.

CO checks, we always check back 87s OTT.

Spot #2

HJvsCO3BET same action.

Flop comes QJ5tt, we cbet B20 OTF, turn is 2o.

We basically never bet T9s OTT even though we have an OESD.

Spot #3

SBvsBB3BET

Flop comes J72r, we cbet B50. Turn is 4o. We pick up OESD with 65s.

Never bet turn.

Our hand interacts with our opponent's folding range, since we block their folding range we X back OTT even though we picked up equity.

Most regulars will continue barreling here (especially at low stakes). How do we exploit these regulars?

1. Develop more turn XR All in as 3BP OOP PFC, especially when the turn gives them more draws

2. Attack their checking range when the turn picks up draws and the river completes them. For instance. On that QJ5tt 2o OTT board, if the river is an 8o. We jam ATC in XC-X-B line because we know they over barrel T9s and aren't balanced so now they never have the nuts.

That's all for now, run good!

This is a Donking Concept vs polarized ranges. We implement this strategy when the board significantly changes. It works even better in practice because a lot of hands your opponent's should turn into bluffs will just call the 10% bet. We also lose less vs Overpairs.

Just wish to confirm how we respond to a raise. I mean BN has some value with a bunch of 9x as well as 88 and maybe some overpairs; of course there are some busted draws etc., too. But you say that the pool just doesn't bluff-raise enough, so I guess that means it's a pure bet/fold?

I don't have exact data for this spot but it is very likely underbluffed. So bet/fold.

Will look this spot up in 24hrs.
