For being that big, basically 7ft, he looks like he had amazing hand eye coordination and great moves.
Walton was actually taller than 7ft. He wanted to be listed at 6'11" because he thought the public would consider him a freak if he was over 7ft. Tremendous skills. Massive impact on both ends of the floor. Foot injuries killed his playing career.
Check out this team pic of the 86' Celtics which demonstrates Walton was clearly longer than Robert Parish.
