Plan Allows For Shared Player Liquidity With Other States
hope more can merge this year
Pennsylvania: Front runner. There's a bill (house bill 2078) to help nudge the governor to make it happen; governor can make it happen without this bill, but has chosen not to do so.
Delaware: Waiting on 'BetRivers Poker' to go live. If/when they do, will a merge happen shortly thereafter? Wait and see.
West Virginia: 2025 more likely. Still waiting on a poker site to launch.
Get excited...

Pennsylvania Gaming Regulator Takes First Step towards Multi-State Poker
"At its monthly meeting on Wednesday, the board that governs the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) unanimously ratified a request for the state to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA). It’s the next step in the process"
smal step to uniting all the states again
This site still have mods or nah
People actually wanting this to happen were/are terribly misguided. Merging pools only makes you play against more pros, not recs ya dum dums.

The games aren't sustainable without new players and when there is legal online poker that is big across multiple states there will be plenty of fish.

Heavily agree with this. I tried to warn people it wasn't a good thing but it fell on deaf ears. Not that it would have changed anything. Before the merger of Stars MI/NJ, I was able to get the same volume but with better quality games. I have to play less volume now due to tougher games and game selection.
Ring fencing is healthy for the ecosystem and makes the games more profitable for everyone.

The fish are getting fried much faster when you have 4-5 regs on every table. Even if more new players are joining, I sure can’t tell. The merge has been a big net negative for cash games, at least on Stars.
For MTTs maybe it’s better.

Stars is dead. Just raised take in MI / NJ. WSOP and BetMGM are both larger pools now.
WSOP gets the “huds are cheating” live shitregs and betMGM attracts a lot of Sportsbook / Casino players as well.
PS PA raised rake too. So ****ing annoying

My guess is 2nd half of this year
Another article came out with regulators saying it will be in April.
Haha yes, that's why I said 2nd half. Gov't is like that relative who is never on time. If they say a half hour, it means 2 hours
Pennsylvania Regulator Says Some Poker Sites Ready to Begin Interstate Traffic Sharing Within Weeks
"The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) told PlayPennsylvania on Thursday that networked poker under the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) would “launch within the next couple of weeks” and begin sharing liquidity"
"Harbach also noted that he anticipates some Pennsylvania online poker operators to start sharing liquidity immediately. Asked for clarification by PlayPennsylvania on whether he meant that some operators would be ready to go live with multistate offerings immediately, he responded in the affirmative.
However, he also cautioned that some might not be as fast."
Bet MGM meeting with Nevada gaming is scheduled for 4/24/25 and that is when we find out if they are finally going to launch in Nevada.

I love BetMGM's software but would hate losing the ability to use a HUD. HUD's are illegal in Nevada from my understanding which means Party Poker would probably just eliminate HUD use all together to keep things fair for Nevada players.
I wish they would keep nevada out of our player pool until they allow huds. WSOP NJ allowed huds until the merge with nevada in 2018. WSOP PA isnt merged yet but never allowed storing HHs, mostly like since they planned on merging eventually. Looks like Stars hasn't announced anything about Nevada. They could end up the only regulated site with stored hand histories soon.Meanw
**** your HUD. Learn to play on your own

Ah yes, an even playing field.
On another note, sadly I believe California will literally (if ever in my lifetime) be the last state to join if it was completely legal. It's pathetic coming from a completely "liberal" state.
