The "LOLCANADA" thread...again

So what's new?

I've noticed the Liberals are now ahead in all major polls and Trudeau hasn't even started to campaign yet...i'd be shocked if they lost the election now.

Just shows just how incompetent Conservatives are.

At this point it's possible the same could happen to the Liberal Party.

Well to quantify it, I'm talking 3 times as bad for the NDP

We agree the liberals are also about to get spanked. But the NDP are going near extinction.

And it's interesting too, because the party of the worker got so busy with other issues it basically stopped helping the worker. Ate itself.

Bad news if you are Pollivre supporter heading into next election. This just shows the carbon tax is working, great news for Trudeau and the liberals imo.

conservative humour is quite something

Humour, what do you mean? The Liberals said a vote for Pollivre is a vote for an Arsonist. They promised to stop forrest fires, promise delivered at least is some areas but you cant expect it to all happen at once. I'd say at this rate after the next carbon tax increase, Forrest fires will be pretty much be extinguished and never happen again. I just hope people remember this when they enter the voting booth next election.

The NDP became a wing of the Liberal Party with a leader that is more concerned with getting his pension . I am not sure whom losses more seats

it’s always amusing to see poilievre go in on a talking point (the pension but) and then see lozen dutifully repeat the talking point here

Can we agree that the single greatest result in the coming election might be the total wipe out of the NDP?

I can't express how happy that makes me.

Yes.

Complete annihilation of the NDP is needed for Canada. Which is kinda why I want Jagmeet to stick around forever and get voted in as party leader. Just salt the earth at this point so nothing grows from it.

Also gotta stick Pierre in there for 10 years at least to put a block on all liberal + NDP initiatives.

FWIW the npd been pretty much dead for some years now when they join with Trudeau .
Trudeau is even more leftish then the npd himself imo or at the least on many issues …

Go Bloc Québécois go -> aiming at a minority government regardless whom is in office .
Our country deserve better then those 2 PC and PLC «*leaders*»….

Trudeau already rich lol …
Trudeau aim at a UN office imo .

It appears that they can and will get a fair bit more dead here. Like historically so for the party.

All praise.

Of course Trudeau is rich he is a trust fund baby that barely ahs worked a day in his life. Jagmeet seems to do well but that Pension is golden

Guaranteed he steps down after the next election Jagmeet that is and yes Trudeau will get some plum appointment to the UN or WHO

I'm not sure what you mean. How else does the carbon tax stop wild fires?

Sometimes playing the fool and being the fool is a fine distinction.

Sometimes playing the fool and being the fool is a fine distinction.

As a HUGE supporter and someone who thinks the carbon tax should increase, you would think you would be able to explain how it stops wild fires. Like when you dream of Trudeau saving the planet, is record setting rain fall in parts of the prairies after a dry winter in the dream?

He will distract and lie like Justin does. The carbon tax has had no little to no effect on reducing carbon emissions in Canada .

I'm sorry, I genuinely can't tell the difference between you thinking you are doing a hilarious job playing the fool and it is oh-so-funny to play that character, or if you are genuinely profoundly ignorant of basic concepts of climate change.

Why do you say this? For instance, this independent report says that between the industrial and consumer carbon taxes this will cut in HALF emissions by 2030.

https://climateinstitute.ca/news/industr...

Half.

One more time.

Half.

Ya you're really stuck on this poilievre attack line huh. Well, I guess we can expect to hear you drop this in 50 times in a row over the next while, you do go on autopilot with these things.

Pretend I am and enlighten me. At what point can we say when the carbon tax is starting to work? Is it if we have less wild fires this season, a cooler summer, more rain fall? In your opinion when would you consider the Carbon tax to be a success.

You have moral obligations toward Tuvalu because of reasons only gender studies majors can understand (sorry) so it's proper that you sacrifice unlimited amounts of money to try to help them even if it doesn't succeed at the end you did the right thing.

Now eat insects and live in a pod, cold showers, and don't complain

This is a weird response. The cited report was from an independent organization. It had nothing to do with the Trudeau government. If you are made a Trudeau's substantial but not full progress on clean drinking water, substantial but not full progress on trees etc well that's fine. But you don't get to replace a specific analysis with your feelings. Even if you are hoping mad. You have to provide actual evidence.

No - obviously - a changing weather pattern in one season of one part of one country doesn't say much about the efficacy of reducing emissions. A 3rd grader can understand this.
